“Lilith..." Mr. Allen said with a smile and sat on a seat, opposite hers. “I won't beat around the bush,” he said and Lilith raised a brow in confusion.

But then, she smirked at him and stood up again. Walking towards the bar section, she went behind the counter and took out some wine and glasses.

Walking towards her seat, she smiled again. “Care to join me?” She asked but he declined. “Aww….that’s too bad.” She said and after taking her seat, she popped the wine and poured herself some.

Taking a sip, she smiled and stared at the wine glass. “So why have you come?” she asked again and stared at him.

Mr. Allen smiled at her and nodded. “I need a guard from you as always and I know you have what I want,” he said to her.

“Of course..." Lilith replied with a smile. “What do you have for me in return?” she asked him and sipped from her wine.

“The usual,” he replied and with a snap of his finger, his guard stepped forward with a case. Dropping the case on a table, he clicked it open, to reveal wads of notes.

“Great!... You know what?..." She asked with a smile and dropped her glass on a tray. “I do know one person you might be interested in and trust me, you are going to like him.” She said with a smirk.

It’s been four days since the incident and Madison had decided to accept the guard. At least she still gets to have her freedom, away from prying eyes.

Nevertheless, she still hates the guard, for making her life hell, for the past few days. He had been instructed by her father, to watch over her.

The guard always stood right outside her door, whilst she sleeps. He was always there, whenever she goes to take a swim at the pool. He was always there, whenever she needed her space.

The only exception was whenever she wanted to take her bath or dress up. He would appear a little creepy, with his different gazes. He never for once, showed a single emotion and she never knew why. Not like she cared anyway.

Currently, her face brimmed brighter with smiles. Her hair was well-combed and she wore a tight-fit blue gown. She sat down in a limo with Chase.

He had come two days ago to the mansion, to apologize for what he did to her, at the masking club event. He had brought gifts for her, which she had accepted and later thrown in the trash.

She knew all his tactics. To make her trust him and fall in love with the man he was trying to let her see. Too bad, she had already seen the true him, to not be able to trust him.

This evening did not feel special to her. It felt like the normal, heart-wrenching days. It felt like a reminder of what she had been going through and what was yet to come.

The limo pulled up in front of a huge building, a hotel building. It was the venue for the royale ball, an annual ball, hosted for men and women of great importance. It was a show of wealth and prosperity.

There was a long red carpet spread out for them and some people, more especially the reporters were outside. As soon as they sight someone of great affluence and importance, they would hurry over like dogs, begging for an interview while shoving microphones at their mouths.

As soon as Madison and Chase stepped out of the limo, unto the carpet, they both got assaulted by the crazy reporters, who threw a barrage of questions at them.

“Sir Chase, please can you clarify on the rumors that you have decided to end your porn shoots and focus on your father’s company?”

“Miss Madison, is it true you are getting married to Sir Chase, even after finding out about his porn career?”

“Miss Madison…”

“Sir Chase…”

The duo ignored the questions thrown at them, as they tried to make their way through. The questions had gotten them infuriated, more especially Chase.

Madison was also upset, as she felt like some of the questions were quite insensitive. Looking behind, she could see her guard following right behind them. Their eyes met and she gave a smile until she felt a little tug on her hand. Her eyes met with Chase's eyes.

“Are you ok? ” he asked her with a smile on his lips. His voice sounded soft and there were no traces of anger in his well-filtered words.

Tonight, he appeared to be more decent than he normally would. He never for once raised his voice at her or made her feel insulted.

“I am,” Madison replied with a nod, and they walked into the building.

A large, magnificent ballroom had been meticulously set up for the event. The chandeliers that dangled from one end of the ceiling to the other, gave off sparkles of lights. Many round tables had also been set up, adorned with white and gold colored table cloth, a sign of wealth and prosperity.

Anyone who caught a glimpse into the room would know that it was the gathering of influential men and women…Each one of them wore high-quality clothes, adorned with gold or diamond accessories.

Walking hand in hand with Madison, Chase led her into the room amidst gasps of surprise in the room. His head was held high, as he noticed that they were stunned by Madison’s irresistible beauty.

“Oh my God! You look beautiful, Miss Madison.” A woman complimented, holding a glass of red wine. She was dressed in a black gown, with stones on them.

The black dress had an illusion neckline and was adorned with silky, black feathers. Her black hair fell on her shoulders and she wore a black glass to suit.

“Thanks…” Madison replied with a smile. “You look beautiful as well.” She said to the young lady, who stood beside a man.

“And you…” the woman said as she glanced at Chase. “You look quite dashing, I must say.” She added, to which he beamed a smile.

Taking her hand, he kissed her knuckles lightly. “You look beautiful as well.” He said and smiled as she blushed.

“Oh my God, stop.” She said with a smile and withdrew her hand. “It’s all Thanks to fashion empire.” She acknowledged and chuckled.

“Thank you,” Madison said with a smile and was led away, towards one of the tables. To be honest, she felt really uncomfortable coming out here. She wasn’t the type to socialize with people. She had only come out because her parents had pleaded with her to go with Chase as his plus one to the Annual ball.

The ball reminded her of the masking ball she had attended with him, before. Though it wasn’t the same ball, she still couldn’t help but get reminded of the incident that had happened there. Subconsciously, she touched her cheek and slowly began to rub it.

“Hey, are you ok?” Chase asked, bringing her back to the present. “You seem kinda off, tonight.” He told her.

“Yeah, I’m ok, sorry,” Madison replied and nervously began to rub her hands. Her eyes, spotted her guard, sitting at another table, staring at them.

He was staring at them like he was trying to listen to their conversations.

“Hey…” Chase said and snapped his fingers at her face, startling her. “You know what? How about we dance?” he suggested.

“I really don’t feel like it.” She said to him while peering into his eyes. She was shocked to see the look of concern in his eyes, instead of immense hate and anger towards her outburst.

Grabbing her hand, he began to rub them slowly. “I’m sorry for whatever I did to you and I’m sorry for not being there when you needed me.” He apologized to her surprised.

Need you? I don’t need you…you fucking, clingy psychopath! She almost screamed at him but then… Wait! Did he just apologize to me? She wondered as she stared at him in awe.

She did not know why, but she felt like he wasn’t being genuine with his affection. She would have believed he cared if he didn’t just apologize to her but now, she felt anger towards him.

“Actually it’s fine…” she said to him and allowed him to kiss her hand, even though she felt disgusted.

“Then dance with me…”

He stood up and stretched out his hand, which she took. He led her to the dance floor and wrapped his hand around her back.

Madison felt quite uncomfortable, being so close to him and getting intoxicated by his scent. She did not want to dance with him but before she could protest, his hand grabbed hers and placed them around his neck.

They both danced slowly to the music, just like the others. This time around, his bodyguards were not on the dance floor but were all sitting down at the tables.

It felt just like last time, except that this time, it wasn’t the mysterious stranger, but the one person she hated.

“May I have the dance?” an older man asked, as they all began to switch partners.

Chase nodded and went for another lady, just like everyone else.

“Hey, handsome,” Janet said with an alluring smile, playing on her lips. Her red hair fell on her shoulders, like a red waterfall. She was on light make-up and wore a red gown.

“Hey.” He said to her, with a smirk, as he wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her close to him.

“Hey, come with me… I want to show you something.” She said to him, with a playful smile.

“Is that so?” Chase asked with a smile and followed as she walked out from the dance floor.

He glanced at Madison and since she was oblivious that he had left the floor, he quickly walked after Janet, who took the stairs, by the far end of the room.

When they got to the top, he looked down from the railing and noticed that Madison still seemed oblivious of his absence.

“Where are we going?” he asked Janet in curiosity.

She smiled at him “You will see…” she said instead. “Come on.” She urged and took another staircase, that led to the highest floor.

Again, Chase followed her, into a massive hallway. There were doors on every side and one could tell there were rooms, because of the tags on them.

She stood right in front of one of the doors, with a seductive smile. Not waiting for him to say anything, she opened the door and walked in.

Chase entered the presidential suite that screamed of luxury. Long, thick, emerald green colored curtains hung from the wall and covered the curtains, preventing light from penetrating through them.

The lounge area was dotted with expensive furniture, a table, a chair, and a lounge. There was also a bar section in the room and a massive bedroom at the far end.

He stood and watched, as Janet walked slowly towards him, swaying her hips like a seductress. He had already closed the door shut and his back leaned on it, as his eyes observed her movements.

As soon as she was just two inches away from him, she brought her face closer to him. They were Soo close, that their lips brushed against each other and her boobs rested on his chest.

“What are you…”

Janet kissed him before he could complete his question. She nibbled on his bottom lip gently, then hungrily glided her tongue into his mouth, and everything ignited. A shocking hunger exploded from within and not being able to hold himself, Chase kissed her back, as hard as he could.

Their kiss deepened, and the moment she pressed her body against him, his mouth latched onto her slender throat. it earned him a gasp and a sexy whimper... And he continued sucking, devouring as if he wanted her to make those sounds again. “Chase..." Janet said, almost out of breath. She kissed him even harder. Her fingers sunk into his scalp as she pulled him closer, her finger fisting into his hair. It was as though their closeness wasn't enough. In a swift motion, they changed positions. Her back now leaned on the door, while he pressed his body to hers. She felt his hand gliding lower, from the small of her back, down to her bottom. Another gasp was wrenched from her now swollen, red, and moist lips. Impatiently, Chase carried her as they crashed into furniture, on the way to the bed. Nevertheless, they both seemed not to care about the damage, as they both kept kissing each other. “You taste so good," Janet said as she kissed him, and using her free hand, she reached removed

Earlier at the ballroom, Madison had switched to a male partner and had begun to grace the floor with him. This was a big relief to her because at least now she wouldn't have to be around, for a while. She didn't know the man she was dancing with but with his body build and stature, she could swear he was in his late fifties. His eyes brimmed with delight as they peered at her. He put his hands on her waist while she wrapped her arms around his neck as they followed the beat of the soft ballad music that was playing from one end of the hall. Madison loves the atmosphere and wished she could attend a party like this with the man she truly loves and not an idiot like Chase. Only the heavens knew how much she hated him and there was nothing that could change that fact. “You look beautiful, dear... " The unfamiliar man complimented her with a smile, revealing the set of pearly white teeth in his mouth. "So, tell me about yourself," he said in a husky but loud voice. His brows arched a

As Madison got closer to the room her curious look quickly changed into a frown as she was sure she could vaguely recognize the voice. She stood in front of the door, and her heart thudded loudly. She was unsure of herself and doubted if it was Chase. Standing right in front of the door, her hand gripped the door handle and her head began to bang terribly. She tried to listen to the sounds that were made in the room, to confirm her thought. She leaned in, placing her ear on the door, trying to eavesdrop. At first, there were only groans and moans coming from the room, so she wasn't certain if it was Chase. Though the voice of the male moaning sounded familiar, she didn't want to conclude until she was sure, so she remained outside the door.Suddenly she heard a sound, someone had just spoken and immediately, she frowned. She was sure the voice sounded familiar. This time, she didn't hesitate but slowly twisted the knob of the door, open. She felt disgusted as she watched the duo on

Chase remained standing still naked, staring at the spot Madison stood some minutes ago. He ran his fingers through his hair and groaned in pure frustration. He had no idea how this could have gotten this bad. All he wanted was a quick tumble in the sheets to pass time at that buzzkill of a party. Then he would go back down and continue with his night with Madison. It had been going so well too. She didn't seem as cold as she normally was to him. Although he suspected that might have been due to his new approach to her but that was beside the point. Now everything was already ruined. Another groan escaped his lips. He had to fix this. Otherwise, it could cause some major problems for his future plans. He sighed and like someone being possessed, he swirled around and walked towards Janet. “Hey…” Janet said, getting out of the bed with the duvet still covering her exposed skin. She had a look of concern on her face, as she walked toward him. Walking towards him, she placed her two ha

Dinner was a little more than a bore to her. As always her parents discussed the affairs of the family company, including all the new products and ways to increase profits and productivity. Technical jargon flew over her head despite being stuff she would need when she eventually took over. That did not trouble her much though. She was smart and she knew it. Everything that she needed to know had long been memorized. Madison blocked the chatter out to simply stare at her food blankly. Her mind kept replaying that scene where she had walked in on her supposed fiancé cheating on her. She didn't even know what to feel. Her emotions were a jumbled mess at this point. A part of her was glad that she had gotten more dirt on the bastard, and another was a bit angry that he had the gall to cheat on her so easily. A bigger portion of her though simply could not be bothered to care too much. It was not like this would do much if she tried to expose him after all. The man used to be a pornstar.

"How do you feel about this design, Maddie?" The girl peered into the image that had popped up on her screen and hummed thoughtfully. "I like it," she answered with a smile. "Although you could dial back on the lace. Anymore and anyone who's wearing it would end up looking like a curtain." "Oh come off it Maddie," said a voice from the laptop's speakers. "Need I remind you how many lace items you own? Most of which belong to a specific room in the house–" "Okay!" Madison cut the voice off immediately, her face burning crimson with embarrassment. "Enough of that. Keep your lace, you fashion maniac." At the edge of the screen, the face of a beautiful spectacled young lady smirked at her proudly. "Hey, you're the one who'll be relying on this fashion maniac to keep your company from sinking once you take over. Don't make me feel like retiring before I even get started." Brown eyes narrowed with a focus behind a layer of glass and plastic. Her finger hovered over the trigger cautiously, waiting until the right moment. Several meters away at the end of a narrow passage, a hidden mechanism caused a human-shaped target to pop out of the wall. She fired repeatedly immediately, hitting the target at various points marked out by concentric circles. Eventually, the clip ran out, leaving only empty clicks as her finger subconsciously continued to squeeze the trigger. Madison exhaled the breath she had been holding, the scent of gunpowder rushing in with her next breath. It was somewhat cathartic in a weird way. She placed the Ruger .22 pistol on the gun rack and left the shooting platform. In the room beside hers, Carl practiced his shots with a shotgun that blasted round after devastating round at mobile targets that appeared randomly. Madison observed him, noting how smooth his movements seemed. The look of concentration on his face was a sharp contrast

Walking into the old abandoned building, Carl set Madison down on the ground as he wiped off the sweat on his forehead. He examined her wound with a deep frown on his face and although it was just a little scratch that would heal in days, he was still angry and bloodthirsty. He wanted to harm those that have put her in such a situation. He wanted to hear them cry out to him for forgiveness as he makes them go through so much more than Madison had experienced. “Madison.” He called out to her while moving a few strands of bloodied hair, away from her face. He bite his lower lip as soon as she did not respond. He was very tired and quickly sat beside Madison while placing her head on his lap. He did not want her to feel sore when she regains consciousness. “Once everything is over, I’ll give you the life you deserve.” He swore as he patted her head, slowly. For some time, there was peace and quiet as Carl just leaned on the brick wall with Madison’s head resting properly on his lap with

Carl inserted his phone back into his pocket and walked back into the room in a haste. He ignored the worried stare he was getting from Madison and walked towards the wardrobe, pulling out a bag from it. “What’s wrong?” Madison asked him as she stood up from the bed. She was worried, as she had no idea what was going on. It had barely been five minutes since Carl stepped out, only for him to return. She could feel that he was worried and it alarmed her. “We are leaving right now!” he simply said to her without taking a glance at her and just began to take out the bags. “Now? Why?” Madison asked him, as she followed him out. Now she was curious to know what was happening. She followed after him, as she went down the stairs. The floorboards creaked as soon as they were stepped on. “What’s going on?” Paul

A splash of cold water was all it took for Alesha to wake up. She gasped and her eyelashes fluttered before she looked around to observe her surroundings. The rattling of the chains bound to her reechoed in her eardrums. She was lost and, aside from that, she did not recognize where she was. She could almost hear her heartbeat pick up pace as it pounded hard against her ribcage like it was trying to escape its prison in her chest. She reeked of sweat and blood and her hair was damp with her sweat. Now, she could see them…her kidnappers, and they all had menacing looks on their faces like they weren’t there to play. They meant serious business and she knew that if she offended them, she might not be left off that easy. Carl and Madison arrived at their destination, a small building. Looking at the environment, Madison began to admire the work of nature as a smile beamed on her face. She could see a garden by the side of the house and a few flowers by the side of the porch. This was what she wanted, to live in a normal house, without any worries, and not in a mansion like her family. She didn’t need all that money and having to attend huge parties thrown by a celebrity or a governor. She wanted to live a simple life and she was sure she was going to like her stay here.Carl walked to the porch and pressed lightly on the doorbell, immediately, they could both hear the faint sound of music coming from within the house.
