Chapter nine: I will never forgive him

I couldn't wrap my head over what Kai said, things like this never happened to him. Kai was the type of boy that shared his things with his friends.

Even if his friend did something bad to him, he'd rather keep it to himself to save the friend from getting into trouble. So I was baffled by what he said.

"Don't be scared alright? Mommy is here, and you have to promise not to listen to it when it tells you to do bad things alright?"

With a gentle tug, I pulled him closer, my eyebrow quivering upward as I rubbed his back in soothing circles.

I'm more than worried right now, Kai wasn't old enough to meet his wolf, so how could there possibly be a voice whispering something to him? And to do bad things that is.

"Mommy, Kai is hungry and wants a dumpling." He suddenly said, his voice muffled by the fabric I'm wearing.
