Path towards Venegeance

I watched him talking about his aim in life but it wasn’t a child who is babbling about his future rather it was the goal of a serious child who has already taken his first step toward his goal.  I could see a shadow of devil in him who was thirsty for the blood of the evils and my heart started racing out of fear. Besides, those words he said weren’t the words of a mere child. It was clear to me that maybe he is a kid in age and size but his thoughts has far surpassed of an adult. And his maturity level was enough to overpower an adult.

Then suddenly we could hear the sound of the police car. Madarashi said, “That bastard butler must have called the police after hearing father’s scream.”  I then said to Madarshi, “If the police match your fingerprints with the daggers they’ll find out.” Then Madarashi smiled and said, “I have a plan in place. Please, do me a favor and pretend that your senses are still numb. And leave the rest to me.”

Then madarashi went, took the dagger and waited calmly. Suddenly we could hear the footsteps of the police and just then Madarashi started screaming and crying like a kid in loss of everything. I was stunned. Then Madarashi cried out loud saying, “Brother, we must be under a nightmare, if  I kill myself  in this world of nightmare I might wake up in reality! There is no way that this is the reality!!’  His words were delusional. He talked like a kid who watches too much cartoons and fairy tales. Then he was pointing the dagger on his guts and cried. Just right then, the police entered and snatched the dagger from him and stopped him. He was still crying.

 Then the police took us to our rooms. Took me long but I understood what happened, Madarashi by putting an act hold the dagger in front of the police. So, the police now can’t blame Madarshi for having fingerprints on the dagger. So, he was safe. I was fully amazed by his quick thinking and trickery.

 In the evening an investigator came to interrogate us. Madarashi told me to keep playing the role of a shocked child who lost everything.

Then he described everything to the investigators. But the thing I didn’t understand was, he never told the investigator about father’s crime. Rather he said that father and mother both were the victim which obviously wasn’t the case. He said when we entered the room through the window we found mom and dad already dead.

Then the police asked us if we suspected anyone. Hearing the question Madarashi made a scared face and said, “Sorry sir, I’m too afraid to say his name. What if he also kills me too?”

Then the investigator gave him hope and told him to say the culprit’s name. I still didn’t understand what Madarashi was plotting. But then he said, “The butler, I think our butler has something to do with this. Cause he was the one who was blocking us from entering the room this whole time. Besides, he continuously entered the room with meals over the past day but I noticed that the meal was for only one person.”

Then the investigators said, “If that’s the case then that means he was supplying the meal to the culprit not to any of your parents.”

Then the investigator asked his assistant to search in the room and he reported back that the leftover of the foods and plates only indicate that only one person was eating those. Then the investigators went and interrogated the butler. After a while he returned and said, “Your description and all the evidence are against the butler. We are arresting him. And good job noticing such important clues. You don’t have to be afraid of the butler anymore. By the way, in the last, the butler was saying that your father was behind all these. Is there any truth in these words?”

Then Madarashi replied, “What are you saying, sir? My father would never do such things. Maybe he was a minister but his soul was as pure as a newborn.”

Then the investigator said, “I’m really sorry. Pardon me.”

Then after sometime the police took us to another apartment owned by my father and left us there. We were all alone there. I thought I was just playing the role of a shocked person. But then I realized that I wasn’t playing rather I was literally shocked seeing all those strategic and manipulative actions by Madarashi. He somehow managed to eliminate two evils in one day. First father and now the butler couldn’t even escape from his or the devil’s wrath. The most shocking was how he fooled the investigator like it was child’s play. I then understood one thing, if superpower or superhuman was a person it might be him. Then Madarashi entered the room I was in. And I saw a devilish smirk on his face, the smirk after a victory and it stroke a fear in my heart.

We stayed there for a week. It was true that mother was really trying to save us from father’s claws as we found out that there was a lot of money and properties left for us by our mother. Madarashi somehow retrieved the money.                       

On the same day he came and said to me, “Brother, I have info that today a lorry at 1.00 am will leave towards the hill tracts. We will snuck in there and leave from here. Those hill tracts will be a safe place to hide. And besides, if we stay here we won’t be able to reach to our goal. By the way I have question, I say ‘we’ but are you up to the task. Cause I babbled about my motif but what about you, are you with me?”

I was afraid at first. I didn’t know what to say. But it was obvious for me. So, I said, “Yeah, I’ll stick with you till the end because I have found a purpose too, and that is to witness the greatness you achieve in this long run. But I will warn you as your brother, you have taken the path of devil so someday you will also achieve the ultimate punishment like the devil.”

After saying that, I for the first time realized that I might have matured a little too. But then Madarashi smiled a little and said, “I chose the job after being fully aware of the consequences. And death is the ultimate result for everyone, be it human or devil. Only exception is, I might face a horrible death.”

And as I thought my maturity level is still far from him. Then the night fall and we packed our necessary things and snuck into the back of a lorry as planned before. The night passed. In the morning we woke up and found us surrounded by hills. We waited for the chance and when it came we got out of the lorry. We wondered around in the hills for a while. Then we came across an old abandoned house. We thought no one was here but when we went close we saw a bunch of people. We were watching inside from the window. Madarashi said, “I think this is some kind of gang of bandits.”

Then we heard someone inside saying, “Mr. Mayor, we demand 3 crore from you. And please don’t act like those money belong to you. You loot from general people and we loot from you. That’s how it….’

 Then someone noticed us. And in an instant three of them came out and one of them was the boss of the gang. They were loaded with weapons and one of them asked permission from the boss to kill us. But the boss denied their proposal and sat bending his knees, and said, “Oh! You little people! Your face tells me that you have suffered a lot because of this world and you are in a loss. I really pity you. Come here, come close to me. I might be able to comfort you.”

I was afraid and so I was backing down. But Madarashi was heading towards him. I thought he was insane to put his trust on someone unknown like that. But when he got close, something else happened. Madarashi suddenly grabbed the boss’s head and was pointing something sharp on his neck. When I got a closer look I saw that it was that safety pin he used to trick father. Then he said, ‘No one moves or this man is dead.” I was surprised by his action. I thought this might help us get away from here. But in the next second everything changed. The bossman was really swift. He somehow managed to put Madarashi on the ground. We were really at afraid that time. That bossman looked pissed off. But then suddenly he started laughing and said, “I like you kids. Care to join my little gang. I can tell, you want to be strong. So, I’ll train you everything I know. So, how about it?”

We were first surprised. But then Madarashi said, “Okay, we agree. I think you are strong both physically and politically. We will be well hidden under you and besides, you can give us the strength we need. So, technically we will be using you. So, are you okay with that, bossman?”

“Oh, scar! But I have no complains. By the way the name is Jihad not bossman, got that?” Then we started a new journey with him. We were wondering what he will do with that 3 crore he looted from the mayor and soon we got our result. He took the both of us to a very poor village and there he donated all the money between them and for sake of their well being. I could tell that Madarashi started admiring him from the bottom of his heart.

And thus,we started living and training under Mr.  Jihad.  Madarashi was progressing so fast. He picked up stunning fight moves and he was also great with weapons. Compared to him I was nothing and his passion was too strong. Though being the youngest he suprpassed all the members of the gang and was on an equal footing with Mr.jihad. They used to go to a lot of dangerous missions and from what I heard from others, Madarashi was a fighting machine and an asset for our team while I was left behind in most of the mission. That’s why I never had the chance to witness Madarashi’s full might.

We trained there for 2 and half a year and after that a war broke out world wide. It was the World War III. The war only lasted for six months but destruction it caused was immeasurable. Destruction and casualties of the world war I and II wasn’t half as deadly as this one. But the shocking thing was, among the casualties 98% was innocent people and the countries that even didn’t have an active a role in the war. But the one who forged the war were practically unharmed. And as expected these news pissed Madrashi off. He was more pissed off with the higher ups and leaders who actually forged the war. But the good thing was our country wasn’t that affected by the war.

When Mr. Jihad saw Madarshi this much angry, he revealed a shocking truth of the present world in front of us.  He explained to us; the world of this time was mainly ruled by five great nations who had the supreme power. They were, USA, Russia, UK, South Korea and Turkey. And these five countries only exercises sovereignty and other countries have lost their sovereignty in true sense. And they were only the puppets of the five great nations. What he meant to say is every country is under one of the five great nations and every five great nations possess some countries under them. But no one knows which country is under which country. Like, we know that we are under one of the five great nations but we don’t know which one it is. And there is that one person in our country who is an agent of the great nation we are under.  

He might be any of the higher ups or a member of parliament or a minister or the president or an ordinary person. But he takes order from the particular great nation’s president we are under and implement it. But no one in the world knows who that person is except the president of that particular great nation and he himself.  

For better explanation Mr. Jihad gave that particular person a name and that was ‘agent scum’. Then he said that this identity of agent scum and the countries each of the five great nation holds were the most classified secret information of this time and if any one by mistake comes to know it, he will be as good as dead.

 And the very reason, a lot of innocents suffered in this war was because of that policy. The war was forged by the five great nations against each other. But they used the innocent countries under them as a shield via the agent scums. And that’s why the innocent countries became the battle field and many innocents lost their lives. If only those countries were as sovereign as they were before! Then Mr. Jihad said that these agent scums and the presidents of the five great nations are the evils whom Madarashi has been seeking.

Madarashi heard everything from Mr. Jihad but it didn’t have any reactions in him which really worried me. So, I asked him if he was alright. And he replied, “Yes, I am. I just don’t know whether I should be happy or angry about it. All those barbarism really makes me angry but also it makes me happy to know that I have at last found the evils I have been seeking all these time. But I can assure you, it’s exhilarating. We have found our path; the path towards Vengeance….”
