Shailyn groaned at the sudden brightness, sealing her eyes with her hand till her vision got clearer, she noticed an odd-looking tree standing at the side and realized they were at the border of the midnight pack, she sighed in relief, knowing they were safe.
"I could tell you have been in there for a while, you got have gotten yourself out," Adelaide noticed the awful state of her mistress.
Now, this was a secret she hadn't told anyone, not even Skylar and she preferred to keep it that way, she didn't want to seem or appear weak because she wasn't weak but she had lost half of her powers when she broke the bond with Skylar, it was the only way she could prevent herself from dying and gain her memories back, it was the only way she could be with Ivan.
