6. Shocked

Amanda kept tugging on mate's shirt.

"Hayden, Hayden. Don't! Please!"

Mate said nothing to her so she got up and just charged at me, slapping me hard on the face.

Everyone gasped in response as I touched my swollen cheek in shock.

"You bitch! You actually dared to challenge the luna!" She yelled.

"I did. Didn't I?"

She was about to slap me again, but a strong muscled body stepped in front of me and took the slap.

Everyone gasped once again. Even Amanda.

"A-alpha." She stuttered.

"So this was how much force you used on her."

She immediately kneeled down.

I put a hand on mate's shoulder and he tensed up at my touch.

"Alpha, let it go. Forgive the luna."

"Yes yes! Please forgive me Alpha!" Amanda bursted out.

"It was accident. You didn't need to take the slap."

He faced me.

"But I did. After all, you didn't deserve it." He brushed a strand of hair out of my face.

I looked down.

"I'm sorry. I'm going to treat this." I removed my hand and walked away without warning. I headed back to my room and went to shower and apply so cream on my face.

That bitch is something else.

As I stood out of the shower, I saw the one person I couldn't stand.

"Amanda, so what do I owe the pleasure?"

She got up.

And slapped me again.

"Don't think I'll start to like you since you took the blame. I am still your Luna, and you will do what i say. Understand?"

"Forgive me Luna, but may I ask are you Alpha's Mate?"

"The alpha's mate died. So I stepped in." She explained.

"Did he agree?"

"O-of course." Her voice filled with unsurety.

"Okay Luna. Thank you for answering."

She gave me another good glare and walked out of my room.

I got hungry 10 min later and went to the kitchen. On my way, I heard an intense conversation between mate and Amanda.

"Hayden! We have to try to make a baby! The pack needs an heir!"

"No! My pup will not be bared by you!"

"No! And that's final. And don't forget Amanda, there is always another solution."

"There is no other solution! Plus, we love each other! So what is the problem?!"

He stayed silent.

"Come on baby, I know you love me. The pack needs an heir, I believe our pup will be the most strongest pup in the world." She flirted.

Hayden made no movement as she also took out his shirt. She removed her own clothes and was left with a lingerie. Amanda pushed Hayden down the bed as she climbed on top of him. Hayden held her butt and moved up his hands on her waist.

She started to kiss him and he kissed her back.

I blinked my eyes.

I closed my eyes and held back the tears.

I silently made my way down again, careful not to make a sound. While eating a piece of bread, I heard moans.

Probably Amandas'.

I bit my lips, and pushed my chair and headed upstairs.

I closed the door ever so silently and again, cried even more.

But who can blame him? All I do is cause him misery.

*The next morning*

I woke up early in the morning. Probably too early.

I just couldn't sleep. I snuck out of the house and went to a deserted forest area. And then there only trees surrounding the entire perimeter.

I focused on a tree. And then, I punched a specific area and the tree instantly broke down.

I took a deep breath and continued.

Hayden's POV

Last night was a mistake. A big mistake.

My mate was in the same house, yet I'm fucking another woman.

I got up early to have a fresh breath of air.

As I went down, I saw mate quietly sneaking out the door.

Mate was watching me.

I could tell.

I turned my head to see him shocked.

"Alpha." I lowered my head.

He came towards me and lifted my chin. My eyes met his gaze.

"How did you do it?"

"Excuse me?"

"How did you cut down that tree so easily? Only a powerful alpha is able to do so."

"It doesn't concern you. You should only be caring for your luna."

He widened his eyes.

I laughed.

I removed his hands and walked away.

Soon? What did she mean by "Soon"?

I looked at the tree she punched.
