"Everyone who didn't present today will be presenting tomorrow so be prepared" Mr. Chase said "you guys can just chill out for the remainder of class" he added while taking a seat at his desk

"Thank God I did not feel like presenting today" Diamond said putting her markers and coloring pencils up

"Why" I asked

"I'm kind of shy in front of people I don't know, I can have social anxiety sometimes" she said looking down at her fingers

"There's nothing wrong with being shy when I was younger I was super shy" Roxy said

"Really that's surprising" Diamond said  making me laugh and Roxy flick her off "but how did you grow out of it"

"Well I got tired of getting bullied and just stop giving a fuck about what anyone had to say" Roxy replied shrugging her shoulders

"I wish I could do that, I wasn't ever bullied; just quiet you know but since it's my last year of high school I wanted to try to come out my shell a little"

"You're doing good so far" I said smiling at her

"Thanks"

"Oh my God shut the fuck up no one cares about your stupid sob stories" Sam said lifting her head up

"Girl shut up I forgot you were even there" Roxy said rolling her eyes

"Right you're irrelevant" I said waving her off

"Y'all the irrelevant ones no one knows who you are," she said pointing at Diamond "you're still the same jealous bitch from last year" she said pointing at me "and you're just a white girl who wants to be black" she said pointing at Roxy

"No one knows who you are, you're a sad, irrelevant bitch ain't nobody in this whole class want to be next to you probably because you smell like a damn fish market funky hoe" Diamond said surprising all of us including Sam who was speechless for a couple of seconds

"Whatever you...."

Before Sam could finish the bell rung and everyone started gathering their things and heading out the door

The three of us walked out of the classroom still laughing about what had happened

"You got some fire in you ain't it" Roxy said looking at Diamond

"I just don't like rude people" Diamond said shrugging her shoulders

"Oh well this is my class right here I'll see y'all at lunch" Roxy said walking into a English class that wasn't to far from the class we were in

"See ya" I said and kept walking with Diamond beside me

"So what are you going to be doing after high school" diamond asked but I was already at my math class door

"College,  not really sure which one yet though, I wanna get to know you more too but this is my class" I said pointing at the door

"Okay, well can I get your phone number and I can text you" Diamond asked

I was a little unsure because I usually don't give my number out, she must have noticed the uneasiness on my face

"If you don't want to its fine"

"No it's cool give me your phone please" once she handed it to me I put my number in "I'll put you in a group chat with me and Roxy, See ya later"

"Kay see you"

I walked into class and took a seat near the middle of the classroom

I pulled my phone out and texted Roxy to let her know I was going to add her to the group chat

The class I was in had a lot of people I'd never seen before, the only face I remembered was Amber she was the girl that gave me that horrible card last year; she must have recognized me too cause she came and sat infront of me sadly

"Hey, you're Anna right" she said

I took a deep breath and looked up from my phone "it's Alaina"

"Oh yeah, I remember but I don't really know anyone this year all of my friends last year were seniors or they just aren't my friends this year"

I wonder why I thought to myself "aw that sucks" I said nonchalantly hoping she would turn back around and leave me alone

After a few more failed attempts to try to talk to me she turned around and the teacher walked into the classroom

"Good morning class, I am not having a very good day so I will have none of the nonsense you'll be sent to the office quick, fast and in a hurry. There are worksheets under your desk complete them now because they are due after class" Mrs. Greene said "the worksheet is not a high grade I just want to see where all of you are at right now Andy questions.... alright get started"

I grabbed my worksheet and started to complete it, it was basic math questions and equations. After about twenty minutes I was finished with the worksheet, so I pulled my phone out and started texting Roxy and Diamond in the group chat.

Group Chat:

Diamond 💎: Chemistry is the worst class ever I'm def not passin 😑

Roxy🦋: nah this English class is bad. she wants us to read five novels by the end of the year 😣

Me: well my class is okay I finished the worksheet now I'm just chilling 😝

Diamond: lucky duck

Roxy🦋: no one asked you Alainaaaa 🖕🏿

Me: 😂😂😂

Diamond 💎: jealousy

Me: right but tell me why Amber called me Anna🙄

Roxy🦋: that one girl from last year the captain of the debate club?

Me: yeah her I guess her friends got tired of her and dropped her so she turned around asking if i wanted to be her friend

Roxy🦋: aw you're making friends 😭

Me:😑😑

Diamond 💎: so confused

For the rest of the class me and Roxy filled Diamond in on the things that happened last year, if Diamond turned out to be like Sam or Chynna I would be irritated but I'm only telling her what I want her to know or what everyone already knows.

So if she does go blabbering her mouth off to everyone then I won't be affected.
