Chapter Eighteen

Karl looked shocked and mind-linked his friend growling,

‘Alexis WTF?’

‘I gave a direct order Karl do not challenge me.’

His tone was cold and dismissive and Karl backed off instantly making his voice submissive he replied,

‘Forgive me Alpha my only concern was for your welfare’

‘I am perfectly safe now leave me in peace. All will be explained in good time,’

Alexis promptly blocked his Pack and sat beside his Mate, taking her small hand in his he felt the sparks running through him, there was no doubt in his mind who she was to him and he was determined she would understand it too.

Aurora opened her eyes slowly, the room was dimly lit but the smell that assaulted her nose was disinfectant, she knew she was in a hospital bed and a frown etched her face.

‘How had she got to a hospital?’
