Aaron Patterson-

A Week later

It's been a week since I knows that Mia is my half-sister. Mom, Dad, Mia, and I are having breakfast. It is like a routine that we have a silent breakfast and dinner. When I come back home I don't feel at home at all now.

"Aaron, There is an important party tonight at Mr. Anderson's. I want you there so we can get investment from Mr. Anderson for our new projects." Dad said. I don't understand how can be Mr. Anderson still have so many investment projects when their company showing negative growth constantly. I nodded and left for the office."John, Come to my office" I called my assistant.

John comes inside " I want all information about Mr.Anderson. All means all" I order him. He nodded and left.

At evening

I was getting for the party. I am trying suits which are bought by my designer. I select the suit and wear my watch and spray some perfume and set my hair ready to go party. All day I was studying Mr. Anderson and his family background from the information I collected He invested in different businesses and recently they signed a deal with the biggest car company in the US.

I reached the venue my dad is already there. I go stand up beside my dad and dad introduced me to his business colleagues. I hear a voice I just turn around and see Mr. Anderson

"Hello Mr.Dace Patterson" - Mr.Anderson said with a wide smile extending his hand for a handshake. "Hello Mr. David Anderson" Dad said with the same smile as Mr. Anderson . they talked about business then they pay attention to me and dad introduced me to Mr. Anderson

"David meet my son, Aaron Patterson,"

"Hello, Mr. Anderson it's nice to meet you, and congratulations on the deal," I said with a polite Smile

"Hello young man and thank you so much I hear you are the one who is leading all new hotel projects and earning the highest profit over the 15 years well Dace I must say your son is very handsome and intelligent," Mr. Anderson Praise me.

"Yes, David, I am very lucky to have a son like him," Dad said. It makes me proud and motivates me when dad praises me.

"well Dace and Aaron I call my daughters to meet you guys, " Mr. Anderson said and called his daughters. One is wearing a blue and simmering knee-length dress and shoulder-length blonde hair and the other one is wearing one shoulder black dress with knee slit and brown hair reaching to her hips they are not silky straight but bouncing and wave hair both are beautiful. But I was just staring at the one with her hair touching the hips. I never see such beautiful hair. When I gaze at her face she looks so innocent and beautiful. I never feel my heart beating so fast. She comes near us and smiles. "Meet the big one June Anderson and the little one Rose Anderson," Mr. Anderson introduced them.

the shoulder-length hair name was June and the hip-length hair name was Rose.

They introduced themselves to each other. I get to know her name, Rose. I look at the big one June who was blushing but I am not interested in her. Rose was standing in front of me. She raises her hand for a handshake " Hello, Nice to meet you, Mr. Patterson," She said with her business smile. I take her hand " Hello, Miss Anderson" but we couldn't talk much. Dad introduced me to other business colleagues. I don know why my eyes didn't leave Rose's face. All people were dancing " Ask Mr. Anderson's daughter to dance" Dad told him to dance. I looked at Rose and goes near to ask for a dance.

"Can I dance with you?" I asked her. She looked around and see June's jealous face, She smiled and nodded. I don't understand why I asked Rose instead of June. We are dancing, I see her closely she didn't do too much makeup. She is wearing light-colored lipstick. Rose looked up and looked into My eyes. She has blue big eyes. She turned her face and looked at June who was burning in a flare. Looking at her expression She enjoyed June's expression. I chuckled She doesn't have any interest in me. She just makes her sister jealous knowing her sister has an interest in me. After we dance finishes, We thank each other.

Then Mr. Anderson announced that he is going to make June the next director of the enterprise.

After talking to most of the business partners I thought of calling John because he didn't get full information about Mr.Anderstand and I want to have a meeting with him.

I was just going toward the balcony he start calling John she picked up after two rings. "Hello," he said

"John, Sand Mr. Anderson's info and blueprint of the hotel," I told him.

"Yes sir," he said but I was interrupted by a thud voice and mirror-cracking voice

"John, I will call you later," I said and hang up the phone. I follow the voice and reached the balcony. Every pot on the balcony was shattered. I was looking down at shattered mirrors when I looked up to see who did this I was stunned to see Rose Anderson.

I looked at her she looked crazy. The balcony looked like an earthquake had occurred. Tears were falling from her eyes. Under their eyes were getting dark because her mascara was spreading. Strands of her hair were coming down her face. She looked crazy. her eyes are red and like they are holding so much hate. her nose was red it was like she just cried.

"Are you okay? " I asked her hesitantly.

"It's not your concern you can go," she said arrogantly. How can she talk to me like that? "I know it's not my concern I just asked you as a human being," I said with a pissed tone.

I was just trying to help her but she doesn't even know how to answer people's concerns. Rose went ahead to pass me." Ahh " I heard cried when I get turned and looked at her. Rose had a piece of glass pierced at her feet. I went up to her and, sitting on my knee, lifted her leg with my hand and placed it on my knee. I looked up at Rose's face. Tears were not stopping from her eyes. I don't know why but I want to wipe a tear from her face. Just stop Aaron I mind slapping. "Wait," I said. she stubbornly withdraws and said with a pissed tone almost screaming "DO NOT TOUCH ME. I SAID, IT WAS NOT YOUR CONCERN MR. WHATEVER CAN YOU LEAVE ME ALONE"

I did not listen to her and put my hand under her knees and took her in my arms. She was so light. Rose was looking at me in amazement. "Get down me" Rose screamed. I looked at her and said, "if you do not want to fall, then put your hands on my neck." "No, you get me down," Rose scream again. I looked at her in amazement and said "if you do not want everyone to see us like this, then shut up." When Rose listened to me, she fell silent.

I take her into the empty room. Her hand was around my neck and she is just looking at me. I sit her on the bed and take out the broken piece from her feet take alcohol from the table and pour it on her feet and dressed her wound with my hanky. I got up and was about to leave the room I said "you are welcome and please visit the hospital tomorrow"

she didn't say anything. I leave the room.

After the party dad and I leave the party.

Rose Anderson-

I woke up I was wearing a white and yellow strip t-shirt and yellow shorts. I take all my hair and make a messy bun I was about to land my foot on the land."Ouch," I scream because it hurt so bad. I get up and do my morning routine and go downstairs to have breakfast when I reached the dining table mom dad and their favorite daughter were already there.

"Morning" I mumbled like I am not interested in talking to them.

"Rose, at least wish morning with right manner," Mom said

"What's the matter if I rudely wish you its, not like there is an outsider here who doesn't know our relation," I said

"How is our relationship, Rose," Dad said with an authoritative voice. I smile " You really want me to explain our relationship? Like how I am your mistress daughter. How you don't want me to have anything even though I work a hundred times better than in June? If you want to know better, dad, ask June maybe she will tell us because she is going to be our new director," I said with a sarcastic tone.

June rolled her eyes at my statement

"Rose you know she deserves this" Mom said

"Of course, she deserves this. Monday to Sunday I work on this deal like crazy I didn't even sleep more than 4 hours fucking the whole week but she deserves this because she just gave the representation on which I work on it," I said almost screaming

I get up and go change clothes into her high-branded clothes but can't wear her high heels because of this stupid wound.

At Anderson enterprise

In Her office, I stand up near the window and look at the busy road to see everyone is eager to move forward and take a lead.

Thinking I am also one of these people who wants to move forward and take a lead then why do people call me selfish and that I am jealous of my sister? No, I just want what I deserve.

I hear my door knock " Ma'am, there is a meeting with Mr.Johnson" My assistant told me. "I will be there" I sigh and took the papers and go to the meeting room. Mr. Nick Johnson was sitting there when he saw me his face beamed. "It's been a while, Rose," He greeted me. I also greet him. After meeting them I was about to say goodbye to him but he asked me for coffee to which I agree. He is the Director of Johnson Electronics. We sit and have coffee.

"Rose, I like you," He said. "I See" I answer and type a message to my assistant.

"Would You go out with-" "NO, Thank you" I said without looking at him. He didn't say anything and our coffee is finished. I sigh and look at him "I hope you didn't take the rejection personally. You are someone I know for Five years. You give me my first project. So I don't want any hard feelings. I think you are a great person...but I don't want any men in my life. Don't lose heart. I'm sure they're are penalty another woman who finds you attractive," I told him and left the coffee shop.

I look at the couple in front of me the girl smile like crazy I'm not gonna be one of that stupid woman who can not live without a man. I'M NEVER EVER GOING TO LIVE LIKE MY MOTHER.
