I stared at my phone because of the way he said it. I mean, that's normal to us because we say it often but why is my heart beating so darn fast?

Is it because his voice is deeper now unlike when we were younger?

That's weird but I just shrugged it off. I just feel giddy today because it's my birthday.

"Happy birthday, dear!" Mom greeted me when I joined them for breakfast. "Anong gift gusto mo, anak? Another Chanel bag or Gucci shoes? Or both?"

"Happy birthday sa pride and joy ko," dad said and kissed my forehead before sitting on his seat.

"Pwede ako lumabas sa first week ng December?" I asked because I know my mom would still give me those things even if I asked for something else. "May games po kasi si Matt and I want to support him."

Mom and dad looked at each other and it looked like dad was hesitant while my mom was nodding at him to let me go out.

"Basta magdadala ka ng tatlong bodyguards at isasama mo si yaya," mom said
