I had expected us to head straight for Hayden's house, but it was Ray's home. Once the car came to a halt, we all stepped down.

I didn't bother asking any questions because it was all clear to me that Hayden didn't want to stay back at his house after he was discharged from the hospital.

I stepped in only to meet Stacey in an apron and getting the dishes set on the table.

"Stacey?"

She rushed towards me and hugged me tight. "It's been so long. I'm glad you're back."

Once we broke the hug, I stared at her. "How's the company doing?" She nodded her head affirmatively. "I'm really trying my best."

"Thank you so much Stacey. I wonder what I would have done without you. It's glad you're part of the family now."

"Alright, can we all get ready to eat now?" Ray groaned as he stared at everyone. We all chuckled and walked to the dining where Stacey had everything all set.
