Chapter 89 "First Time He Wanted to Follow His Heart"

“My son,”Andrea called as she stood up.

Lance looked alternately to his mom and Jane. There was no commotion inside and that tells Lance that his mom hasn’t recognized Jane yet.

“Mom,” he called as he stood between Jane and Andrea as if to block her from staring at Jane. “W-Why did you suddenly come here without contacting me first?”

Andrea looked worriedly at her son. “Baby. I came here to talk about your gir…”

“W-Wait a minute,” Lance stopped her and held her arm. “I think w-we should talk inside the office. C-Come on!”

His mom cast a look at Damiel and Jane as Lance dragged her inside the office. As soon as they went in, Lance locked the door.

He took a seat next to his mom and said, “You should not come here without telling me first.”

“You might escape if I tell you beforehand.”
