Chapter 3

Olivia racked her brain but seeing that there was no good idea that popped into her mind, she left her bedroom in frustration.

As she walked around the house, her eyes caught the servant cleaning by and they lit up.

Ah, why did she not think about it earlier? These servants should know Ethan better because they have been staying with him.

Olivia devised a plan in her mind. She was just going to pretend that she was concerned about their master and wanted to know more about him, thus learning a few things that he disliked or liked.

“Yo, are you busy?’ Olivia asked the servant in a good-natured voice.

“You have eyes but you cannot even see?” The servant mocked. She did not like this woman that had popped out of nowhere and entered her master’s life.

Although they were told to show total respect, she could not help but disdain her.

Seeing that the servant’s attitude was not so welcoming, Olivia did not care. She was just there to know a few things about that damned man.

She would make sure that she infuriates him until he throws her out of her house.

“I can see that you are cleaning, but you are almost done. I am just here to ask a few things about your master.” Olivia said.

She wrung her hand nervously as if she was afraid the servant would reject her.

The servant looked at her and scoffed. Heh, she had only been here for a day but she was already asking about their master? Has she already fallen in love?

“What do you want to know?” the servant asked. She vowed that she was going to teach this bitch that had tainted their master a lesson.

Ethan was like a god in their hearts. Although he was handsome, he was not someone who liked to play outside. They were actually shocked when Olivia was brought here. Maybe she was the one who seduced their master.

“Uhm, just simple things like what the master likes and what he dislikes. You know, I am new here and I don’t want to do anything that will anger him.” Olivia said.

Her face was so innocent that no one could tell that a lot of evil plots were now playing out in her mind.

“Our master is always composed. He never shows his emotions in front of anyone.” the servant said.

Olivia immediately revealed a disappointed expression. If even the servants did not know their master, who was she supposed to ask?

Seeing her disappointed look, the servant felt disdain in her heart. She was right, this woman had fallen in love with their master.

“But…”

“Is there anything?” Olivia’s face lit up with delight.

“There are some things that our master hates, one, he hates anything cooked with carrots, and two, he hates when people get physical with him. He especially hates those women who try to throw themselves at him and seduce him.” the servant said.

Olivia’s eyes lit up. Ha ha, she was glad that she asked.

“Thank you, so much for the information,” Olivia said and quickly left. She had to devise her plan and make sure that by the time Ethan got home from work, everything would be perfectly done.

Even if she has never seduced a man before, she would learn, just to make sure that the man was infuriated.

When evening came, Olivia rushed to the kitchen. Seeing that the servants were busy preparing dinner, she offered to do it herself.

“Y’all can leave. I will be cooking for your master today,” she commanded.

“Ma’am…” the servants were hesitant.

“Olivia, what are you doing?” Alice came over and asked.

“I offered to cook dinner for the master tonight but the servants are not allowing me to. I just want to show my sincerity.” Olivia said in a pitiful voice.

Alice looked at the chefs and told them to leave the kitchen and let Olivia do her things.

She did not know how deep her relationship with her master would run, but for now, they had to be polite to her.

After the chefs left, Olivia excitedly entered the kitchen. Seeing that all the ingredients were prepared and the only thing lacking were carrots, Olivia ordered a few servants to bring her carrots from the garden.

Haha, since she was about to make a feast, she had to do it perfectly.

When Ethan came back from work, he was surprised to see Olivia donning a pink apron and arranging the table. The dining table was filled with lots of dishes and he wondered if she was the one who had made them.

When Olivia realized that Ethan was back, she flashed him a smile as she ushered him to the dining table.

“Perfect time. Just in time when I am done making dinner.” Olivia said. She especially emphasized the last part.

She wanted to make sure that Ethan heard it.

Ethan was momentarily stunned when he heard Olivia. It was only for a split second before he sat down at the dining table. Olivia passed him a warm towel to wipe his hands before she opened the lids covering the food. 

When the smell of carrots wafted in Ethan’s nostrils, his brows furrowed ever so slightly. Olivia, who had been looking at him, was slightly excited.

Heh, she was just waiting for the man to flare up and chase her out of the house. But to her dismay, not only did Ethan not scold her, he immediately took a plate and started eating his dinner. He seemed to be enjoying his meal as he did not even lift his head.

Halfway through, the man lifted his head and looked at Olivia. Olivia’s heart skipped a bit but she became excited. She thought Ethan could no longer endure the taste of carrots in the food and was about to scold her.

“Don’t do this for me again next time.” the man said in a monotonous voice. Seeing that she might have touched the man’s nerve, Olivia decided to up her game.

Hah, let us see how long you will continue to pretend to like the food when in reality you can't wait to throw up.

After hearing his words, Olivia nodded obediently. When she saw that Ethan had gone back to eating his meal, she moved to his side in an attempt to pour him a glass of water. But whether she was doing it deliberately or not, the glass of water landed perfectly on Etha’s chest when she tried handing it to him, wetting his shirt.

“Oh, I am so sorry. I am always so clumsy. Look at how I have messed up your clothes. I will help you wipe them.” Olivia said.

She took a dry towel from the table and started to wipe Ethan’s body. Her hands were all over his body as she helped him to dry his head. Ethan’s body turned stiff the moment he smelt the woman’s clean scent.

He had planned to scold her but the words reached the tip of his tongue before rolling back. Her warm breath was all over his body and he felt as if he was being caressed by a light feather.

Seeing that the woman was not stopping, and her chest was almost in his face, his expression tensed and he put the spoon in his hand on the table, he abruptly stood up, startling Olivia who almost had her entire body in his arms.

Thinking that her plan had been perfect and the man could no longer tolerate him, Olivia looked up at the man with an excited expression.

Ethan did not say anything as he immediately scooped the woman in his arms. Olivia was stunned for a moment but soon a subtle smile appeared on her lips.

Well, he was going to personally throw her out of his house and she could not ask for more.

But to her horror, the man did not head towards the door. He headed towards the stairs while carrying her easily in his arms. Olivia revealed a confused expression. She saw the servant who had given her suggestions standing at the kitchen door with horror written all over her face, not knowing how to react.

Before she could react to anything, a deep, sexy voice sounded in her ear, “You are such a slutty, sexy bitch. Since you started the fire, then you will have to extinguish it!”
