~ KEALEY ~
"I'm going over to Adalyn's today," I said, taking a bite of the sandwich I held with both hands.
"Yes, dude. Your parents are in a serious fight." Scott said, panting as we both walked really fast. "How'd you know about it?" I asked, also breathing heavily.
~ KEALEY ~"So...how was it?" I asked Kaiden immediately as he walked into the room. He wasn't having a friendly expression on, it was more of frustration and stress written all over his face.
~ KEALEY ~Kaiden looked more frustrated than he already looked in the last few days. I heaved a sigh and walked into the study room.
Once again, I insisted on following Kaiden to his family meeting. Simon had called for an important meeting and Kaiden needed to be there though he didn't feel like it. I was family too so I had every right to attend. At least Scott always attended meetings like this."Once again, stupid stuff." Kaiden hissed.
"I think this is perfect!" I said with a grin. This, being the fifth house we've surveyed, I was finally able to conclude that this was the best. It had everything that spelt 'Home'. It was a 'not-so-simple' storey-building with a large living room, four bedrooms, a kitchen, multiple bathrooms, an attic, a basement, a study room, a spacious garden, swimming pool, spacious enough for my beautiful future children with Kaiden to play. It was just so perfect!
"I'm definitely going to love this!" I squealed. This vacation exhilarated me like crazy. I had searched the internet for fun things to do on a romantic vacation and it was quite helpful."You've expressed your excitement a trillion times now. Will you take a break?" Kaiden said with a playful roll of his eyes. He slid his card into its hole to open the door to our Pres
~ KAIDEN ~I had to return home to handle an urgent business-related matter. I know I was taking a break from Work but there was no way I could miss this. Scott was going to kill me if I missed it for anything.
"P–pregnant?" My mouth went agape at that. I move backwards, letting out a harsh breath. "W–what do you mean by you're pregnant? Are we… did we…" I trailed off, raked my fingers through my hair with a deep exhalation. My heart began to throb harshly against my rib cage. My legs became wobbly, making me almost lose my balance."Kaiden, calm down
~ THREE YEARS LATER ~~ KEALEY ~It was another brand new day. It wasn't an ordinary day today, it was our twins birthday! My beautiful baby girls, Mia and Mira were turning 3 today.Kaiden was super excited about this and had planned it so well. He had invited our friends over and other children to celebrate with them. The girls were also very excited about this because Kaiden had made them know how exciting it was going to be."Kealey dear, will you snap back to life and get ready? The girls are about to explode from the party not starting yet." Kaiden walked into the room, grinning from ear to ear."It's just in the living room so I shouldn't be bothered about being late." I rolled
Author's note: Thanks for reading till this chapter. The recommended song for this chapter is: 'You Are The Reason' by 'Calum Scott'. He had an extremely worried expression on."I'm trying but she's not answering my call anymore." I said with an equally worried tone. My heart was throbbing against my rib cage really fast. Nothing was going to happen to Beth, I hoped."She asked to meet her at Metrilin, right?" Henry asked rhetori
~ BETH ~"Where the hell is she?" I tapped my foot against the floor, resuming to pacing around her car.My phone began to ring from my bag. I unzipped the bag and slipped the phone out of it."Now, Dad's calling?" I hissed, answered the phone call and placed it on my ear. "Hi, Dad.""Are you still there? It's really urgent for you to hurry up. You have to be here on or before five hours." Dad's impatient voice oozed into my ear from the phone."Well… it's not my problem that your stupid businesswoman wouldn't arrive on time. She had asked me to come over, where her car is so we can go together but she hasn't arrived and it's fucking annoying!"
~ GEORGE ~Evie, still being the stubborn person she was, wasn't ready to listen to an apology from me. I realized that my life needed a change. We had a lot of things in common like falling in love with people that didn't love us back…I had lived with Evie for almost 6 months, we had done so many things and spent a lot of time together. She was now like a part of me I couldn't leave. The only reason for not realizing how much she meant to me was because the veil of probably having Kealey still covered my face and blocked me from seeing the truth; the true woman I loved and certainly loved me back. Evie could obviously do anything for me and I needed to make things work between us."Evie, why are you still so mad at me?" I held her hands again. The contact my hands made wit
~ KEALEY ~Kaiden and I ran into the hospital, though he was trying his best to make me slow down obviously due to my pregnancy. When did he become this over-protective?We spotted Henry pacing to and fro in the hall. He looked extremely nervous and was all sweaty like he was the one in labor and not Layla. We got to him and Kaiden held his shoulders, panting to catch his breath."Is everything fine now?" He asked."I–I really don't know, I'm so scared. Nothing bad will happen to her, right?" The concern in his tone was so evident.I wore an encouraging smile, held his shoulder to
"Don't lie to me, I know you love me too." Evie repeated. I climbed off her body, sitting beside her.She sat straight. "I've gotten over Scott and love you now." She wiped her tears with the back of her hand. "You're hurting my feelings, why won't you get over Kealey?"
~ BETH ~
"Where's my 30-week pregnant sweetheart?" Kaiden beamed, waking me up from my slumber."Did you have to wake me up?" I groaned.
I was back at our house. Wait… did I forget to add that it wasn't my choice. I was fucking forced to come back by this dork of a husband. He had been so busy working on a file in the study room. I observed a previously empty room was beginning to look like an office. He was probably converting it.
