~ BETH ~
"Where the hell is she?" I tapped my foot against the floor, resuming to pacing around her car.
My phone began to ring from my bag. I unzipped the bag and slipped the phone out of it.
"Now, Dad's calling?" I hissed, answered the phone call and placed it on my ear. "Hi, Dad."
"Are you still there? It's really urgent for you to hurry up. You have to be here on or before five hours." Dad's impatient voice oozed into my ear from the phone.
"Well… it's not my problem that your stupid businesswoman wouldn't arrive on time. She had asked me to come over, where her car is so we can go together but she hasn't arrived and it's fucking annoying!"
Author's note: Thanks for reading till this chapter. The recommended song for this chapter is: 'You Are The Reason' by 'Calum Scott'. He had an extremely worried expression on."I'm trying but she's not answering my call anymore." I said with an equally worried tone. My heart was throbbing against my rib cage really fast. Nothing was going to happen to Beth, I hoped."She asked to meet her at Metrilin, right?" Henry asked rhetori
~ THREE YEARS LATER ~~ KEALEY ~It was another brand new day. It wasn't an ordinary day today, it was our twins birthday! My beautiful baby girls, Mia and Mira were turning 3 today.Kaiden was super excited about this and had planned it so well. He had invited our friends over and other children to celebrate with them. The girls were also very excited about this because Kaiden had made them know how exciting it was going to be."Kealey dear, will you snap back to life and get ready? The girls are about to explode from the party not starting yet." Kaiden walked into the room, grinning from ear to ear."It's just in the living room so I shouldn't be bothered about being late." I rolled
"Jingle bells! Jingle bells! Jingle all the way…" I paused with singing. Something definitely didn't sound right about my voice at the moment. Had my voice lost its melody? I stopped, then stared out of the window of the so-called planet that I guessed they called a house. I swear on holy cows' sake that an entire planet could fit into this house.
Layla was done for the day and we were about to leave to go home. I had assisted Layla in cleaning the house, for free! It was so exhausting but I had fun, I guess.I noticed that Layla had glazed over as she stared at an irrelevant part of the elephant grasses that were on most portions of the floors of this extremely wide compound. "What're you thinking of?" I asked,
Walking down the pavement, with my bag on my hand and being dragged on the floor, having a sad look on my face, feeling like all hope was lost, feeling the need to get drunk. That was me right now.I was extremely broken at the moment. No one was ever going to understand my feelings without being me. It wasn't good news to hear that the man you've loved for 7 years and
"Where and how do we get a replacement bride?" I asked my dad, waving my hands around along with rolling my eyes."I'm still so surprised that you're easily agreeing to this replacement bride thing." He chuckled. "I expected you to get all furious when I suggest it then you'll say shit and leave."
~ KAIDEN ~I kept pacing around the entire dressing room. I walked to my laptop to view the live video of what was going on in my Wedding Hall. The number of people there had definitely reduced. People were gossiping, some were wandering about and doing stupid things I didn't care about.
