Nakasakay ako ngayon sa isang sports car na color dark green na minamaneho ng isang Mr. Alex Santillan na nuknukan ng gwapo, medyo mabait pero halatang babaero.
Kanina pagkalabas namin sa hospital, nag-aya siyang kumain sa labas at dahil gutom na rin naman ako di na ako nag inarte pa.
I check the time, it's 10 minutes before 6.
Kaya naman pala nagwawala na mga anaconda ko sa tiyan.
Tumingin ako sa labas para malaman kung san kami pupunta, and sa tantya ko base sa daang tinatahak namin, we're heading to 'Paddle Out', nice, maganda dun dahil kita mo ang dagat. Ang romantic naman.
Ay ayan ka na naman, wag asumera para hindi nasasaktan, bumabawi lang sayo yung tao dahil naagrabyado ka niya masyadong assuming kaya ka nasasaktan.
Eh di wow. Hahaha.
Yung kabilang parte talaga ng utak ko napaka nega.
Busy ako sa pakikipagaway sa utak ko kaya di ko namalayan na nandito na pala kami.
He poke my nose.
"Wag mong isipin yun, may iba na siya." Sabay tawa ng nakakaloko.
"Alam ko, di naman na ako umaasa, kaya nga eto oh nag momove on na ako." Sabi ko sabay baba sa kotse nya.
Kaimbyerna ‘to. Kailangan bang ulit-ulitin? Alam ko naman, di na dapat iremind pa.
Bahagya kong binilisan ang aking paglalakad dahilan para maiwan siya.
"Huy, El, wait lang... Joke ko lang yun, wag mo na kasi siyang isipin nandito naman na ako oh." Sabi niya na humabol na sa akin.
I rolled my eyes and he just chuckled.
Sabay na kaming naglalakad papunta sa loob.
"He, tigilan mo nga ako." Sabi ko sa kanya dahil ang landi na naman niya.
Ngumiti naman siya.
Umorder na kami bago umakyat sa taas.
Tahimik na kaming naglakad papunta sa second floor. Pinili namin yung nasa may bandang gilid. Sunset na kaya mas lalong kay sarap pagmasdan ng paligid.
Hinila nya yung upuan and gestured me na umupo doon.
Pero imbes na doon ako umupo umikot ako sa kabila, yung side na nakatalikod sa mga papasok.
Nakakunot ang noo nya na umupo sa kabilang side ko.
"Sorry, pero kasi baka masanay ako, alam mo na, nagiingat lang." Paalala ko sa kanya.
"Ok lang naman na masanay ka kasi wala akong balak itigil ito." Nakangiting sabi niya.
Natawa ako sa kanyang sinabi.
"Alam mo kung siguro hindi pa ako natatauhan baka kinilig ako jan sa mga sinasabi mo. Kaso, nagising na ako eh, natuto na ako, hindi sa lahat ng oras tamang gamitin ang puso, madalas mas tama ang sinasabi ng utak." Sabi ko sa kanya.
He smiled bitterly.
Sira ulong taong 'to kala mo naman totoong affected.
"Di pa lang ako nagsisimula basted na kaagad." Sabi nya na naksimangot.
May kakaibang pakiramdam ang mga salitang iyon sa akin ngunit ipinagsawalang bahala ko na lamang.

"Para kang sira. Di naman yun yung gusto kong sabihin, ang sakin lang tama na ako na lang muna ang nagmamahal sa sarili ko. Mas mabuti kasi yun, saka mas safe. Malayo sa pain at brokenness." Sabi ko.
Siya naman ngayon ang natawa.
"Ang bitter mo El." Natatawang sabi niya.
Napasimangot ako.
"Palibhasa ikaw sanay ka na ikaw ang nanakit." May bahid ng inis sa aking salita.
"Ouch naman El, real talk ka naman." Sabay himas ng kanyang dibdib.
Napatawa ako ulet sa sinabi nya.
"Pero diba nga sabi ko sayo nagbago na ako." Sabi niya habang nakatinin sa aking mga mata.
Hindi ko tuloy maiwasang mailing sa paraan ng pagkakatitig niya sa akin.
"Tse! Tigilan mo ako." Nasabi ko na lamang.
"Sir, Mam, ito na po order nyo."
Sabay kaming napatingin sa waitress, at sa mga pagkaing sineserve.
Oh my goodness, I'm starving.
Biglang tumunog ang mga tiyan namin.
At sabay na naman kaming napatawa.
Walang salisalita, sabay na naming nilantakan ang mga pagkaing nasa harapan namin.
Grabe ang sarap. Sunod-sunod ang subong ginawa ko tutal ganun din naman siya.
Sarap na sarap ako sa kinakain ko ng marinig ko siyang tumawa.
"Why?" Sabi ko.
"Ang kalat mong kumain." Sabi nya.
He chuckled then gestured me na may dumi daw ako sa mukha.
Di ko naman ma-gets kung saan.
Nilapit nya yung kamay nya sa mukha ko and pinunasan nya yung gilid ng lips ko.
Naramdaman ko na parang may kuryenteng dumaloy sa katawan ko mula sa parteng hinawakan nya.
Bakit may kuryente?
Sa Meralco ba ito nagta-trabaho.
Napangiti na lang ako sa ginawa niya. Ngunit may parte sa puso ko na alam kong naguguluhan.
Tinuloy na namin ang pagkain.
Ano ba yan, napaka komportableng kasama naman nitong lalaking ito.
Habang kumakain kami ay may biglang tumawag sa kanya.
"Alex?"
I was stunned literally for a moment upon hearing that voice.
Sheme. Nagaano yung lalaking yun dito, saka bakit kilala nya si Alex.

At nagsimula na siyang mag roll call.

Napansin yata nila na nandito ako.
"Are you with someone?" Tanong ni Chae.
Kahit wala akong mata sa likod sigurado ako na nakatingin silang lahat sakin.
"Ah yes, si El nga pala, medyo nadisgrasya ko kaya andito kami."
"Nadisgrasya as in nabuntis?" Sabi ni Val?
Sira ulo talaga itong babaeng ito kahit kailan.
No choice na ako kaya humarap na ako sa kanila.

Five seconds yata silang nakatulala sakin.
Lahat sila nakanganga.
"Shiiiiiitt! Elie, buntis ka?!" Sigaw ni Val.
Namula naman ako sa sinabi nya. Sasagot na sana ako kaso nauna na si Alex.
"Oh no...no...no... Mali ang pagkakaintindi mo sa sinabi ko, what I mean is, nadisgrasya ko siya literally, nasa park kasi ako kanina kasama ko yung pusa kong si Em and it so happen na andun din siya nakaupo sa bench then habang naglalakad kami ni Em nakasalubong kami ng pitbull so natakot yung pusa ko at umakyat sa puno, no choice ako dahil ayaw niyang bumaba kaya ako ang umakyat kaso nga lang nabali yung sanga na inapakan ko at yun yung tumama sa noo nya." Mahabang paliwanag ni Alex.
"Ah so that's why may benda yang ulo mo." Kuya Arriane.
"Opo Kuya." Sabi ko naman.
Naguguluhang tumingin sakin si Alex.
"Mga barkada ko."
He nodded.
"Ah ok. Please join us. Kakasimula pa lang namin."
As if on cue, nagkanya-kanyan nan ga silang kuha ng upuan.
Kainip naman oh.
"Nadisgradya ka pala hindi ka man lang nagtetext." Chae.
"Masakit mata ko." Matipid na sagot ko.
"Hey, El, di mo sinasabi masakit pala mata mo, let me see baka connected yan sa sugat mo." Alex.
Hinawakan nya yung mukha ko tapos lumapit siya. As in malapit na malapit. Tapos chineck nya yung mata ko.
"Wala namang signs ng irritation, balik na lang tayo ng ospital bukas." Alex.
Naramdaman yata niya na nakatingin sa kanya lahat.
"Wag kayong mag-alala aaalagaan ko siya ng maayos." Then he smile.
Anak naman ng siopao oh, Alex wag kang gumaganyan.
"Wow, bongga. Aalagaan? So ibig sabihin ba nyan may something na sa inyo? Val.
Pucha, please remind me na best friend ko yan. Makabanat sakin wagas.
Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin.
"What, eh sabi nya kasi aalagaan ka daw nyang mabuti." Val.
Natawa naman si Alex.
"Well, it is my responsibility na alagaan siya since ako naman ang may kasalanan kung bakit siya nasaktan and kung papayagan nga lang niya akong tanggalin lahat ng sakit willing ako eh." Sabi nya habang nakatitig sakin.
Spare me plessss! Pakiramdam ko ipapahiya ako ng mga red blood cells ko. Ang init init na ng mukha ko
"Ay sige Alex, push mo yan." Val.
Grabe, sarap batukan nitong babaeng ito, naghahanap ako ng help kaya tumingin ako sa mga kuya ko pero putek naman lahat sila nagpipigil ng tawa. Ay lekat walang mga pakinabang.
Napadako ang tingin ko kay Chae. Seryoso lang siyang kumakain.
Binalik ko ang tingin ko kay Alex na ngayon ay Nakita kong nakatitig din sa akin.
"Bitter pa kasi itong si El sa ex nya..." sabi niya.
Lahat kami nasamid sa sinabi nya.
"Why? May nasabi ba akong hindi maganda?" Nagtatakang tanong niya.
Natahimik kaming lahat.
Parang may dumaan na anghel.
