NEXT MORNING

Aiden rubbed his eyes wearily as he heard the door of his room creaking open. His brow furrowed in confusion when he saw Jane Doe, the mysterious woman who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere, stepping inside with a tray of his morning coffee.

"How... how did you... come inside?" he demanded, his voice tinged with a mixture of surprise and frustration.

"You didn't lock the room," Jane Doe replied calmly, her demeanor unwavering as she placed the tray on the table with practiced ease.

Aiden's mind raced with disbelief. He hadn't locked the room? How could he have overlooked such a simple task? His thoughts were interrupted as Jane Doe began pouring his coffee, her movements swift and efficient. He couldn't help but notice how she added sugar to the mug without even asking how much, a detail that sent a shiver of unease down his spine.

"How do you know I take two and a half spoons of sugar in my coffee?" he questioned, his voice laced with suspicion.
