If we try to bribe our way out, it will tarnish your reputation when it gets public so the lawyer suggested we go through all the necessary procedures and leave the court cases." Dave explained but Cruz could tell he was hiding.

"What the hell are you and Tennessee planning?" Cruz asked out of curiosity.

Tennessee Marino was the leader of Cruz's legal team and she is one of the best lawyers in LA. She is very good at manipulating the court to her favor which was why she has never lost any case.

"You have never been interested in the process. Why now?" Dave asked curiously.

"That's because there's never been a case when someone's life is on the line. I don't want you manipulating this case to the victim's disadvantage. Tell me what you Tennessee is planning or I will call her here myself." Cruz threatened.
