Jane spent some time in the room before heading downstairs. She found Damien still sitting in the living room and asked him, "Aren't you going to work?"

"I'll go after lunch." Damien looked at Jane, who appeared ready to leave, and added, "Eve is cooking. You should eat before heading out."

Jane pondered for a moment before asking, "Did you come back to help me today since you don't want to work?"

Damien looked at her, his lips slightly curling up. "Yes."

Jane regretted asking the question as she found herself tongue-tied.

Thankfully, Damien didn't press her further.

After lunch, Damien left for work, and Jane took a taxi to the recording studio. She felt bored during the ride and decided to check Twitter. To her surprise, she found a pile of comments and mentions.
