“No, Ma," Olima nervously replied. "I've checked the kitchen cupboards, and there's no foodstuff there.”
Mia frowned and, feeling hungry, shouted, “Why didn't you say anything since this afternoon?”
"Huh!" Olima looked at Mia in shock, then at Mrs. Gina, who stood there silently looking back at her.
Olima had helped Mia with her school assignments. Mia acted nicely and friendly with her, but once Mia saw that her mother had returned, she changed and started mimicking her mother's rude behavior.
Breathing out with relief, Mrs. Gina said, “Hmm, and you sat down here with Mia, watching television instead of going to the market. Didn't you know that you were supposed to come to my shop at noon to take the money to refill the house with foodstuffs? Did you expect us to starve tonight?"
"No, Mother," Olima fearfully replied, seeing her stepmother looking at her coldly.
Mrs. Gina sighed once more, opened her purse, and brought out some cash. She counted it, saying, “Here's 10,000 naira. Before I go upstairs to my room to take my bath and return downstairs, make sure you've gone to the nearby market and purchased all the soup ingredients you will need to prepare the vegetable soup with semolina tonight. Otherwise...!”
Olima gulped hard as she watched Mrs. Gina drop the money on the coffee table before she went upstairs to freshen up.
Olima swiftly rushed to the kitchen cabinets, knowing that her stepmother wasn't joking with her threat. She searched the cupboards, checking to see which ingredients remained and which new ones she needed to purchase at the market.
Olima hurriedly left the kitchen, pausing in the living room to pick up the money that Mrs. Gina had left on the coffee table. Then she swiftly fled the mansion, rushing out like a crazy woman.
"Hahaha! Olima, where are you running to?" Mia shouted, laughing at the way Olima ran out.
"Stupid girl," Mia cursed at her elder sister, knowing that her mother never liked Olima. She then relaxed comfortably on the couch and continued watching the interesting romance movie.
However, Nathan rose from the bench and rushed to the gate to meet Olima.
He had been sitting at the gatehouse when he saw Olima run out and bang on the gate heavily, "Open the gate!!" she screamed, as if the house were on fire.
Olima didn't have time to return to her room to change out of her transparent blue dress, which provocatively revealed her shape. She was light-skinned, slightly chubby, with long blonde hair that reached her shoulders, and she was an adorable sight to behold. Her breasts were larger, and Nathan tried hard not to gawk at Olima's full chest. He remembered how generous her father had been and how he had helped him too.
However, he rushed to the gate to meet her, seeing her holding a black polythene bag to her chest and wearing black slippers.
“Where are you rushing to, small madam?" Nathan immediately asked Olima.
“Open the gate, sir! I don't have time to explain," Olima pleaded, looking very restless.
Nathan sighed and pulled the smaller gate open, knowing that Olima had been under fire, running around like a rat ever since Mrs. Gina had taken over the mansion.
He hastily pulled the smaller gate open, and Olima ran out with the speed of light, not caring to look around for any incoming vehicles.
At that moment, a flashy red car was taking a turn and narrowly escaped hitting Olima.
"Damn it! Who's that crazy young woman who ran out of the compound like that and into the estate road like a madwoman! Hey! Silly woman! Watch the road next time!" The red car driver cursed. He was a black man, 30 years old, and a chauffeur as well as a bodyguard.
Olima was stunned as she heard the driver cursing her. She peered at the car and saw the man in the passenger seat looking at her intensely. His blue eyes locked with her brown orbs.
Olima was unable to apologize as the car drove away. She slowed down, running toward the estate gate, her figure bouncing up and down as she ran ahead to leave the estate. She was nervous, hoping the market hadn't closed before she got there. Therefore, she ran faster again.
Inside the flashy brand-new red Toyota car sat a young, handsome black-skinned man named Justin Robert. He was 21 years old, tall, and had deep blue eyes. His interest skyrocketed as he saw Olima again.
His parents wanted him to take over their multimillion-dollar empire and real estate business because his father owned the Emerson Housing Estate and resold most of the villas there.
Justin's heart skipped a beat when he saw the pretty young lady again. He almost thought his car had rammed over her and knocked her down after she ran out into the road.
He gazed backward at her after his driver narrowly escaped hitting her; there were no other vehicles nearby that could have prompted an accident.
Justin had been admiring this beautiful young woman. Recently, he had been seeing her frequently and looking for a way to ask her out. He didn't even know her name or which building was her family house, but he had been wondering where she lived since he mostly saw her on the way.
Justin suspected that the young woman's father was a billionaire, but she looked like a maid, given how she dressed. Still, her beauty was enchanting.
He knew that most billionaires lived in his father's estate.
With the sunset and the moon rising above the sky, Justin's car drove ahead toward the estate exit gate. He was going to one of his favorite hangout places—the clubhouse.
Justin hated business-related topics and didn't find anything about business interesting. Well, except for his drawings, as he loved to paint pictures, watch interesting movies, and hang out with pretty ladies who were ready to get down in bed with him.
Justin loved sex, though he was a playboy and had never proposed to any woman before; he enjoyed their company.
He felt his arousal peak at the sight of the beautiful young lady. His dick was rock hard just from looking at her—the way her hips bounced and swayed when she ran away, her chest and large breasts bouncing and calling out to him.
Justin couldn't look away, even as his chauffeur, Jesse Andrew, drove the red car past her.
Justin gulped hard, swallowing the lump that had formed in his throat. He was unable to see all the goodies for free and looked away. The lady's light blue dress was slightly revealing, and he forced his driver to stop the car.
"Stop the car, Jesse," Justin ordered, still gazing backward at the young lady, even as his car was far ahead of her.
"What?" Jesse, who wore a white shirt and black trousers with black boots, looked back at Justin in shock.
“I should do what, boss?” he asked, thinking he had heard wrong.
“I said, stop the car," Justin repeated, not taking his eyes off Olima as he watched her running ahead to the gate and approaching his car.
Jesse gulped and replied, “Okay, boss. I am on it."
Jesse parked the red car along the road, wondering what Justin was up to, because he was hired as Justin's personal driver and bodyguard.
Justin wore a red long-sleeve shirt with black trousers, paired with black polished shoes. His short black hair was cut in a low fade, and he looked breathtakingly handsome, aware that first impressions mattered.
He anticipated asking Olima out today, as there was no way he would miss his chance.
Taking a deep breath, he pushed his side door open and got out of the car.
Olima was shocked as she abruptly stopped and looked at the man who had come out of the car.
At first, she wondered why the car had stopped. "Did the driver want to scold me, or was it the passenger in the back who was looking at me? Oh no!"
She saw a pair of black shoes first alight from the car before the handsome black man stepped out.
Olima was stunned; her jaw dropped as she gulped hard, wondering what the man wanted to say to her, especially as he turned to face her. She met his curious and desirous gaze. She knew that look and understood what he wanted.
"Hi," the man said to her, but she shook her head and replied, "No, excuse me, please...!"
Olima immediately ran away, dodging the man like a bullet as she sprinted as fast as her slender legs could carry her chubby and seductive body.
"Wait!" Justin tried to stop her, but Olima took off, running to the gate and not looking back at him.
"Dammit!" Justin cursed, knowing that he had missed his chance with her. He watched her exit the gate and leave the estate premises. He ran his right hand over his head in frustration and got back into his red car, ordering Jesse, "Start the car."
"Alright, boss," Jesse replied and waited for Justin to fasten his seatbelt. He smiled, also seen how the young lady ran for her dear life, afraid of what his young boss wanted from her.
Justin sighed in frustration and replied, "Let’s go."
Jesse started the car and drove off, heading to the club as they had planned.

Meanwhile, Olima took a deep breath as she finally exited the estate gate.
"What did that man want from me?" she pondered, still trying to catch her breath.
"I could have waited to hear him out, but my stepmother would kill me if I don't arrive home on time," Olima said as she saw the red car leaving.
She stopped a cab and got into it, heading to the local market to purchase all the soup ingredients she needed to cook the delicious vegetable soup.
Olima was aware that she didn't know how to cook. She hadn't cooked when her late mother and father were around, but she was forced by her stepmother to learn how to cook delicious meals now.
She wiped her tears, not wanting to remember her parents because she missed them dearly. She finished purchasing everything she needed from the roadside sellers.
Once she was done with her purchases, Olima went to the taxi park and got into an available cab. She told the driver her destination and offered to pay for herself alone so that he wouldn't waste much of her time. She had completely forgotten to go to her stepmother's shop because she had been busy helping Mia with her school assignments, and they were engrossed in watching television after the lights came on.
Olima sighed and told the taxi driver, "To the Emerson Estate, just me."
"Enter the car," the taxi driver ordered, and she got in. Then he took her home.
The taxi driver arrived at the vast black gate of the Emerson Housing Estate. The security men didn't allow him entry, and Olima paid for her ride before she nervously alighted from the car.Once Olima got out, she ran speedily through the estate gate, heading back home. The estate security men, who were standing there and searching the cars and motorcycles driving in and out of the estate, stared at Olima and wondered what was chasing her. They knew that was how she ran home every time."Isn't that Mr. Leo's daughter? She's a gorgeous young lady now, always running about without caring about her tempting looks," one of the four estate security men said."You better get your eyes off her; you cannot have her!" the others warned.Olima arrived home at the gate of her late father's mansion. She banged on the huge black gate loudly, calling out to Nathan. "Mr. Nathan! Please, come and open the gate."Nathaniel hastily rose from his chair and rushed to the gate to pull it open."Why are yo
Nathan dragged Olima outside from the mansion, and she sobbed and begged him, "Please, sir, don't throw me out. I don't have anywhere to go too, please, Nathan."Olima cried, and Nathan replied, "I'm sorry, small madam, but I cannot help you now. You have to leave this house."Nathan was also worried, as he didn't know what Olima did.He had seen her when she returned home and ran back speedily into the house, and now she was sobbing heavily, and Mrs. Gina ordered him to throw her outside.Olima begged, "Please don't throw me out. This is my father's house. I don't have anywhere else to go too, please."Nathan let go of Olima's hands and raked his short black hair on his head in frustration. He is a dark-skinned man and was of average height.Mrs. Gina stepped out from the mansion and questioned out, "Nathan! Is that witch still outside there?"Nathan stared at Olima in fright and pulled the gate open as he replied, "No, madam. I have sent her outside."Nathan wasn't yet ready to lose
Justin stared at Jesse's face in the strip club parking lot, and after a while of contemplating, he said, "You remember the pretty lady that we saw earlier when we were leaving the estate today?"Jesse smiled and replied, "Yes, you mean the young lady that ran away from you when you tried to approach her?"Justin glared at Jesse, but Jesse laughed out and apologized, "Forgive me, Boss."Justin yelled, "Justin! How many times do I have to remind you to stop calling me boss?"Justin never liked it when Jesse tried to maintain the master-to-servant relationship between them.Jesse apologized, "I'm sorry, Justin, but you know that your father will be angry with me if he finds out that I'm being friendly with you and also calling you by your name."Justin replied, "I know, and that's why I want you to be calling me by my name, especially when we are not at home and in public places like this, to reduce the other people's eyes on me."Jesse agreed, "Okay, Justin."Justin sighed frustratingly
Jesse's eyes also widened in shock as he saw Olima's face and knew that she was the same young lady that Justin was asking him about earlier when they were still at the club, but now she looked so battered than when he had earlier seen her.Jesse couldn't believe that she was the one, and Justin was seriously worrying himself about her too.Olima was still unable to speak about who had hurt her as she cried and begged Justin, "Please, sir, help me get to the estate gate?"Justin asked her, "Why?"He held her left hand closely as he didn't want her to run away from him again, but his phone continued ringing out in his black suit trouser side pocket.Jesse's phone also rang out too, and Justin knew that his parents were the ones calling him. Even though they acted blindly to him sometimes, his mother still always called him to know where he was and if he was alright.Justin said, "Wait first."He immediately took out his phone from his trouser side pocket, and at the same time, Jesse's p
Justin's car finally drove into the garage and parked. He stepped down from his car first and saw his mother standing at the mansion frontage and staring at him as he walked over to the other side of the car and assisted the young lady in stepping down from his car.Mrs. Juliet was wearing a red long, rosy nightgown, and hearing the sound of her son's car arriving in their compound and parking in their garage. She immediately rushed out to have a peek on who had arrived, and seeing it was Justin made her relieved. Her husband had traveled out for a business trip abroad to other states where he owned other mega houses there too, and she knew that her husband usually cheated on her, much more than Justin. But her husband, named Mr. Emerson Robert, kept his promiscuous lifestyle a secret, thinking she wouldn't know. She has seen a lot of photos and more likely videos of him with some shameless young ladies that were proud to host her husband in their beds, despite knowing that he's a marr
Justin walked into the living room with his mother, but Mrs. Juliet wasn't in a good mood at all, and she questioned her son, "Son, just take a look at the time that you're just arriving home now. It's after 12 a.m. in the middle of the night!"Mrs. Juliet ranted, and Justin rather apologized to his mother, "I'm sorry, mom. I saw her by the road, and I couldn't just drive past her.""Why, son? We have the estate security agency to help her out, and now with you bringing her here, that will prolong the matter and warrant more questioning and explanations. What if that young lady did something more terrible in her family home or killed someone there, and you shamelessly brought her here to us, and to implicate us too?" Mrs. Juliet roared out her frustration at Justin."No, mother! She's innocent and cannot hurt a fly," Justin said, and his mother shook her head, as her black eyes narrowed at her handsome son."It's okay. It's already late now, and I want to go and sleep. By tomorrow, I w
Justin replied to Leah's greeting, "Good morning, Leah. How was your night?"Justin was practically a free guy, and even though he knew that he was supposed to be strict with his staff and workers, he wasn't the type of guy who took life so seriously and should be demanding respect all the time from his employees. He knew so well that Leah, Jesse, and their gatekeeper, Alex, all respected him as he is their boss, just after his father, but he smiles with them and plays with them behind his parents' backs, especially when his father isn't at home, as his mother usually turned a blind eye on his playfulness sometimes, but his father didn't approve of it at all, and always told him to maintain a boss-servant relationship with their staff."My night was fine, boss, and yours?" Leah asked him, as she paused her sweeping and stared up at his balcony again, where he was leaning."Fine too," Justin replied, but his eyes remained focused on Olima, while Leah saw that her boss's eyes were rather
Mrs. Juliet's eyes shifted to stare at Mrs. Gina as she finally walked out to the gate, and she met with Mrs. Gina's cold gaze.Mrs. Juliet asked, "Why did you send her away last night from here?"Mrs. Gina didn't know who the black, beautiful woman standing in her presence was, as she knew most of the women living around the Emerson estate were all the wives of powerful men."Pardon? Who are you to come into my house and question me?" Mrs. Gina questioned back."Who am I?" Mrs. Juliet scoffed."I'm very ashamed of you, woman. So you have a young daughter like her, and you chose to send her away by midnight last night, and you could sleep so peacefully inside your room... How evil of you to be so heartless to another human's daughter, let alone your stepdaughter too?" Mrs. Juliet questioned back coldly, but Mia's school bus finally arrived.Mia had no other option than to leave for her school. Mrs. Gina replied, "Olima is not welcome in this house again, as she dared to poison my daugh
Mrs Juliet still wanted to bond with her grandkids and she begged Olima and Justin to stay and not leave with the twins.Justin smiled and told his mother, "Mom, we are not yet leaving the house."Mrs Juliet sighed in relief and she took Mike and Henry around the mansion, she didn't want the two boys to leave her side. She called her husband on a phone call and showed him photos of the lovely two boys and also video calling with him.Mr Emerson smiled and told her that he wasn't aware and that he would book a return flight back to the country to come see his grandkids too.Olima and Justin stayed back in Justin's family house. They bonded together as a family and ate dinners at the dining table with his mother.Mrs. Juliet finally asked Olima if she had ever gone to pay a visit to her family house again since she left.Olima shook her head and replied, "No ma."They were eating on the dining table and Mrs Juliet spoke about Olima's stepmother. She told Olima that Mrs. Gina had been jai
Olima met with Mrs Juliet's gaze on her. She knew in her mind that if Mrs Juliet had another alternative, she wouldn't be in her office.Olima sighed and replied to Mrs Juliet, "I can understand your decision then ma. But Justin didn't want to."Mrs. Juliet frowned a little and met Olima's nervous gaze on her, She asked Olima, "Didn't you like my son? You made it look like it was only Justin who wanted you?."Olima's cheeks flame red in embarrassment and she replied to Mrs Juliet, "I did like Justin.. but.."Mrs Juliet stopped Olima from finishing her words, she asked Olima, "Tell me the truth. Are you now married? You look like a married woman and I am so scared of what I would tell Justin. I promised him that I would visit you and beg you on his behalf to come home Please come back home and forgive me in particular. I was just hard on you and I cannot explain why."Olima's face turned red as she almost sobbed, but she told Mrs Juliet, "I am not angry with you ma. I can never be angry
Two months passed after Olima and Justin reunited back as lovers, and they became a family even though they hadn't gotten married.Olima hadn't gone to Justin's house was beside hers, to see his house's interior decoration, as she was mostly staying in her own house. She has a lot of entertaining spots in her home, and they usually spend time together whenever Justin visits. They swim in her swimming pool and their twins get used to seeing them together.Mike and Henry already accepted Justin as their father, and Justin now looks healthy and has recovered from his previous slim looks. Unlike the last time that he looks unhealthy.****Jesse has not yet seen the lady of the house that Justin usually visits and even sleeps in her home every day.He only saw the maid of the house and he couldn't ask the maid any questions. One day, Justin's mother called him to return home and she thought to inform him that she had been searching for Olima and she hadn't seen Olima.Mrs. Juliet was not ha
Justin looked up at Olima's face and smiled. He replied, "Yes, I have. I owned the estate.""What?? But I didn't get to see your name there" Olima looked stunned, that she was running away from Justin's family, and she still ended up with him again."I know. I didn't put my name there, but your name is on the document and in my registry too. How about your dad's company? Don't you usually go there, or how do you cope staying here?."Olima smiled and replied, "I go there only once in a while. Mr. Luke gives me an update about the company and he's very trustworthy too. So I don't have to be there always or visit there.""Mm, I hope that you don't run away from this house before I should go to work and return. Or I shouldn't even leave at all, as I don't want you to run away from me again?" Justin asked, taking more steps to meet Olima, while their two sons kept staring at the two of them.Olima smiled and replied, "No, I won't. Where am I going to run away to?.""Do I know? Anywhere of
The following morning, Olima woke up feeling a small hand tapping on her shoulder as she and Justin were still sleeping on the bed "Mummy!" Mike screamed out as he looked shocked to see a man on his mummy's bed.Olima and Justin startled awake and woke up on the bed as they stare at the pair of blue eyes that was staring at them too."My goodness Mike! What are you doing here?" Olima asked in surprise and had totally forgotten that her two kids usually comes to her room every morning to wake her up early in the morning and she didn't usually lock up her room door too..Mike didn't responded, as he sat on the bed beside Olima on her left side and staring intently and suspiciously at Justin's face, as Mike hadn't seen Justin before, and seeing him for the first time, The little boy was wondering who Justin is?.The bedroom door pushed open again and Henry also walked into the bedroom as he wore similar white pyjamas like Mike's own.."Mom!" Henry exclaimed in shocked too as he walked i
Justin replied, "No, I am not... I am not angry with you. I am happy to see you and to be a father, and meet with you again. If there is anyone I should be angry with, Is my mother and not you."Olima frowned and Justin told her, "You shouldn't be feeling any pity for my mother, she doesn't want our happiness.""No, don't tell me that. She's your mom, she carried you for nine months and raised you all by herself. So you shouldn't be mad at her, She would have her reason, I don't know..""Hmm, You are kind" Justin smiled and walked up to meet Olima. He pulled her into a hug again to his chest as she was barely reaching his shoulder height. He said, "I know that is because you're a mother now that's why you're advising me not to be angry with my mother, but is alright, I won't, so long she doesn't come in between us again."Olima frowned a little knowing that Justin's mother didn't truly like her.Justin kissed her cheeks and said, "I do not hate my mom. I am just angry about everything.
Olima feels guilty and not being able to hear that Justin is there. She fears that he might also want to sleep there at her gate. She finally told her security man, "Is okay, Let me go out to see him. Or no, Just let him inside."Olima was worried that someone else who knew her might go out to inform Justin's mother and if truly he was the one, then there was no how he wouldn't have Jesse with him..The security man went outside to meet Justin.Justin looked at the man as he was typing on his phone and chatting with a client. The security man was older than Justin and probably Jesse's age group. He said to Justin, "Madam ask you to come in and see her.".."She has? I knew she was lying to you before., thank you "Justin stepped into the compound and saw Olima standing there in the center of the compound she stared away to her garage not wanting to stare at him as he walked up to meet her...Justin could see that she looked very maturely like a married woman.Even as the night sky had f
Olima was restless after she ran into her sitting room. She has a very strong feeling that the tall dark man that she saw earlier was Justin Robert."How is he the one that's living in the next compound? Justin? Are you sure he is the one?." Olima was worried as she knew that if truly that man that she saw was Justin, then she would be in trouble as he would find out the whole truth about her."What am I going to do now?" Olima had sent her two kids away to go and meet with Lady Eve downstairs, and though her two sons didn't want to leave her side, she had to call on their nanny to come and carry them away.Olima heard the loud knocking sound on her house gate at first, and with each passing second, she knew that the tall man was already at her house gate to confirm his suspicions and he was Justin too"Oh! What am I going to do now? Should I send Lady Eve to go and pretend that she's me and attended to him on my behalf? But Lady Eve is a black woman. Should I send Amara? But Amara i
Justin was stunned as he was standing outside in his garage and speaking to Jesse. He wanted to leave for his new company, which he had recently built, as his company was a fine art company, where he decided to try out his drawing skills and also meet with other top fine artists that were in their city.He was more into entertainment and though he still hadn't forgotten about Olima and wished to meet with her someday, no matter how many times he had gone to her company, and hired a spy to know when she secretly arrived. He was told that she hadn't visited the company for a long time now.Justin hasn't given up hope. He focused on his business and warned his mother never to speak to him about marriage and that she should adopt a grandson if she needed one.He stopped going home, after seeing that his mother wasn't yet ready to listen to him.She called him and told him that she would visit him, but he told her not to, to avoid them getting any further problems. His mother wouldn't stop
