271. Public exposure

Jemma lay still on the bed for some time, making sure he had truly left. When she heard the beeping sound of the apartment door locking, she breathed a sigh of relief. Hurriedly, she went to lock the bedroom door from the inside. Turning on the lights, she glanced around the room. Her eyes landed on a T-shirt and pyjamas that belonged to Noah. Putting on his clothes seemed a much better option than being naked, so she quickly got dressed and then lay back on the bed, feeling weak and drained. She reached for her mobile phone and checked the notifications flooding in. The internet was filled with news about her and Jay. Just then, a notification popped up on her phone. It was a text message from Noah.

"Turn off the lights. Put the phone away and get some sleep."

Jemma's eyes widened in surprise. He wasn't in the apartment, so how did he know what she was up to?

Angrily, she replied, "Are you spying on me? Do you have cameras in your bedroom?"

"I can see the light from downstairs. And
