The sun had gone down, and even though it was nighttime, it wasn't as dark as the terrible situation the helpless woman was facing. Sara Owen was sitting on the couch, tears still flowing down her face, while a tall man stood by the bar counter, looking at her with a drunken gaze. They hadn't spoken for a while because Sara had nothing to say, and the man, Kevin Johnson, was anxious about the questions weighing on his heart.
"I'll tell you everything about your kidnapped husband. In return, you have to spend one night with me."
And this was his condition.
Sara Owen’s frightened gaze and pale face gave him space to calm down. Her innocence was effective.
“Turn back.”
“Huh?”
He stood there, hands in his pockets, looking at her innocent face with his red and dark eyes.
“Turn… Back…”
Her throat tighten. She swallowed hard, trying to calm herself, and turned around.
He approached her, sending shivers down her spine.
"Unzip," he ordered.
Sara shut her eyes tightly, mustering her courage while tightly holding onto her sense of shame. The thought of a stranger touching her made her tremble, wishing she had died long before this moment.
With clenched fists, she slowly opened her hands and brought them down to her waist, near the zipper of her dress.
Meanwhile, Kevin Johnson lit a cigarette, seeking some relief from his discomfort. He was determined to show no mercy tonight. He wanted to see Sara Owen naked, her innocent and beautiful face consumed by shame and regret. Exhaling smoke, he eagerly desired every inch of her fair skin, hoping to see her bare back. Once the smoke cleared, he flicked the cigarette away and holding her trembling shoulders, he buried his face in her neck, inhaling her sweet scent.
Sara tried her best not to bite her lip. He gently pulled the dress off her shoulder, and it fell to the ground. The sight of her black lingerie against her sparkling white skin seemed alluring. He turned her around, nuzzling his neck against hers, gripping her thigh and placing it on his waist while holding her buttock. Feeling repulsed, Sara closed her eyes tightly and took a deep breath.
Suddenly, their attention was drawn to the beautiful balcony as they heard the sound of a pot shattering into pieces.
Furrowing his brow, Kevin let go of her and went to investigate. He discovered fragments of a broken vase on the floor and looked around. The breeze wasn't strong enough to cause such a heavy vase to fall easily.
He closed the curtains and gazed at the trembling woman's back. His eyes fell upon her thighs, and he froze. Old scars marred her white skin near her buttocks, as if she had been hurt there in the past, perhaps by a stick.
Touching the scars, he asked, "What happened to these marks?"
"Just hurry up. I want to know about my husband," she replied, rudely.
Her response didn't affect Kevin, but he grew irritated at not getting an answer. He grabbed Sara's arm forcefully and made her look at him.
"When and how did you get these scars?"
"They're from my childhood.”
"Who are you?"
"Seems like you've lost your mind due to alcohol and vanity. I'm Sara, Yohan Dixon's wife."
"No. Talk about your childhood. Who hurt you so badly?"
"It was the orphanage dean, where I lived as a child."
Kevin's boiling blood instantly cooled down upon hearing Sara's response.
He was no longer angry; instead, regret consumed him.
He turned away, feeling ashamed of how he had treated her.
Insulting a woman so profoundly was something he had never done before, but for some reason, he had succumbed to it today, and he realized he had failed.
"Get out," he said, not even willing to glance at her for a moment.
Sara Owen swiftly zipped up her dress, trembling with fear, and hastily departed from the hotel room without even inquiring about her husband's whereabouts.
Kevin Johnson raised his fiery gaze and looked at the closed bedroom door.
So, it turned out that Sara was the same person from his childhood whom he had been searching for all this time. Sara, who was only four years old at the time, had left the orphanage and never returned.
The eyes, tenderness, scars on her thighs, and innocence of this Sara matched with the one he remembered.
Kevin Johnson hurriedly left the room, snatching his coat. When he spotted Sara Owen near the elevator, wiping her tears, he dashed down the hallway.
“Sara,” he called out, relieved to finally have found her.
Sara Owen spun around, surprised to see Kevin Johnson standing there. She tightly clutched her purse.
"I totally hate your husband, no joke. I called him up, planning to kill him. But then we talked, and something changed inside me. I couldn't go through with it, so I left him alone in the jungle. I don't know where he is now, though."
"Why should I trust you?"
"I know I messed up big time in the room, but I swear to you," he pleaded, his eyes begging for understanding. "I'm telling you the truth."
Sara Owen, her voice dripping with anger and desperation, spoke up.
"Whether you had a hand in Yohan's kidnapping or not, time will reveal the truth. But let me warn you, once Yohan finds out what you did to me tonight in that private suite of yours, that will be the end for you.”
Kevin Johnson remained silent, clenching his fists as he stared blankly at the wall.
Sara turned to leave, but before she did, she looked back at Kevin with a fierce gaze. "Remember this, no matter how many enemies Yohan has, none of them will ever sink as low as you have."
Sara Owen stormed out, leaving Kevin Johnson alone with his thoughts. He stood there for a few moments.
Yohan Dixon had no dearth of enemies in the world. But no one could know who kidnapped him.
"I messed up big time," he muttered to himself.
To whoever's reading this, if you've read 'Hot Billionaire Daddy,' you'll recognize that this is its sequel. Newcomers, I suggest you read the first book to understand the story's foundation. Don't worry if you're confused; the first book clears things up. In this second part I have given a long pause in the entry of the main character Yohan Dixon. Which was needed in the twist of this story. I hope the second part will get more love than the first part got. It took me a lot of hard work and time to write and adapt it as per your choice. I have kept all my projects pending for months and concentrated only on this book. Sorry for making you wait for months. But after reading this book you will find that wait worth it. Thanks very much. :) :)
The road was empty, and the white car cruised along at a steady pace. Raindrops occasionally obscured the view through the windshield. Jack, the driver, glanced at Sara Owen through the rearview mirror and noticed her slouched in the back seat, staring out the window with red, swollen eyes. A wave of pity washed over Jack as he observed her.Ever since Sara Owen moved into October Villa, Yohan Dixon's private residence, Jack had been her driver. He had witnessed her going through various challenging situations, but it was after her husband's kidnapping that he saw her suffer each day.As they arrived back at Dixon Villa, Sara Owen entered the premises with a sense of hopelessness, her strength seemingly drained after stepping out of the car.Yohan's aunt, Natalie, anxiously waiting for Sara Owen. As soon as she spotted Sara, she stood up."Sara," Natalie called out.Sara lifted her gaze. Sensing that something was amiss, Natalie paused. Suddenly, Sara collapsed to the ground, her hand
Sara finally spoke up, expressing her desire to return to October Villa. This surprised and saddened Natalie and Bruno.“I've been waiting for so long and I'm getting impatient. I feel like I'll die if I keep waiting for him. I have so many memories with him at October Villa. I want to keep those memories close to me to help me keep going."Natalie sadly agreed, wanting to respect Sara's right to live her life as she saw fit. In return, Natalie asked Sara to promise to keep visiting them on weekends.Bruno Dixon spoke up in his deep voice, "You know since Ricky was kidnapped, managing the group has been tough. He worked on several projects before he disappeared, but the company is losing money due to his IT investment."Natalie then placed a file on Sara's lap, leaving her puzzled."What's this?" Sara asked."It's a gift. Ricky wanted to give it to you on your graduation day."Sara looked at the file, feeling a sense of daze and wonder. She wondered what kind of investment he had made
Sara Owen had finally found some optimism after arduous days. She hugged her chest while gazing out the window.Just then, Natalie knocked on the door. Sara Owen backed up, "Aunt. Please come.”Natalie approached her with her gentle smile.“When Ricky entered the study room, he would also forget about the outer world."Both people turned to see the moon covered by clouds."I always felt proud while seeing him at work. But it makes me sad to watch you.” Natalie said."I am preparing myself to behave like him.""Who knows what he'll do if he comes back and sees you working in this state!"Sara Owen suddenly lost her colour as she peered into Natalie's eyes. This state!!"Don't punish your child. He is blameless." Natalie said.Sara Owen averted her tear-filled gaze."Aunt."Natalie held up her palms, "You kept such a significant truth secret from everyone up until now!"However, her walk and tummy were unable to conceal the reality."I didn’t hide it. I just…want to find him.""Did Rick
From a tiny crack in the window, sunlight was streaming into the pitch-black chamber and falling on the blood-spattered arms. The white shirt had been stained red by blood. The veins in the arms and shoulders were still green. His jawline was seductive, his long neck rested on the ideal collarbone. His large skull wound erupted in blood, spilling down his face to his strong chest. His broad skull wound erupted in blood, which then trickled down his cheekbones and into his powerful chest. His lips had ripped corners and were dry and bloodless. His eyes were puffy and thick. Two men entered the pitch-black space kicking the door and threw a file in front of the injured man. There was very little movement in the long, bloodied fingers of the injured man as he lay motionless in the chair. Two men were laughing loudly as they looked at him. One of them walked up to the chair and punched the injured man in the face, causing his nose to start bleeding. “Son of a bitch! Sign the papers! We
“If my graduation had not been completed, I would not have been the Chief of IT Cell, then the powers would have been with uncle, your father.” Sara Owen stated what was written in the document.Neel Dixon glared at her for a moment, how did this simple woman start understanding the tricks of business?“Okay. I cancel the board meeting.”“I'm not stopping you from taking company decisions, Neel. But every decision taken in this company should not go ahead without my consent.”Neel Dixon nodded with a deep sigh, “Let’s go home. Mom and Dad are waiting for us.”“You go. Jack will drop me.”Staring at her pretty face for a while, Neel Dixon left the cabin.“Madam…”Before Assistant Nolan speak, Sara Owen turned back feeling sad, “Was the deal for which Neel went on a business trip successful?”“No, Madam. They did not understand Young Master’s concept. Although they are our very old client, but they found the chairman's way of working more reliable.”“I want a report of every damage, in
"A few days ago, I discovered your father's lifeless body in the morgue. It seems like he was attacked by some wild animal."Sara couldn't believe it. "Wait, are you saying he was killed by an animal?" "So, you didn't even know that your 'dad' met a miserable end! Or maybe you had something to do with it?" Kevin Johnson asked with a smirk."What are you trying to say?""Why was his body found among the unidentified corpses?""That man wasn't my father.”"So, he got what he deserved. Now, spill the beans. What's the truth?"Sara glared at him, her body still shaking."I was just a little kid. I don't remember anything. All I recall is that I had some kind of accident while going back to the orphanage. They took me to the hospital, and when I woke up, that man told me he was my dad. He had kidnapped me from the hospital, intending to sell me. But then he changed his mind and kept me around as a servant. I only found out when...""Your husband revealed the truth to you," Kevin interrupt
Sara shot him a withering look. "If you don't trust me, call my assistant and ask her.""You called Mom and said you were going to..." Neel trailed off, gritting his teeth in frustration.Sara Owen cut Neel off mid-sentence."Hold up, Neel. I know what I'm doing. I lied to Auntie, okay?" She turned to Natalie and reached out to hold her hand."I'm sorry, Auntie. But we've got a big client interested in a product. If we seal the deal, it'll be a huge boost for the company. And I knew you wouldn't let me go if I told you the real reason. Will you forgive me?"Natalie smiled sadly."Your husband always wanted this company to be the biggest in the world, and you're doing everything you can to make that happen. I'm so proud of you, Sara.""Well, I may not be forgiven, but at least the punishment will be worth it." Natalie added.Neel rolled his eyes. "You guys are too much."Sara turned to Natalie. "So, what's the punishment gonna be, Auntie?"Natalie gave her a playful scowl."Oh, you'll
Bruno and Natalie looked at Neel Dixon, silently urging him not to say anything. However, Neel Dixon avoided their gaze and instead looked directly at Sara Owen."I checked all the CCTV cameras. No stranger came into the house. To get to the pool, one has to enter through the main door. The housekeeper didn't see anyone leaving the pool. So, it looks like nothing happened.""Neel, chill. It's okay," Natalie tried to calm him down.Sara Owen interrupted, “Do you mean I lied?”"I'm not saying you're making this up, but it's suspicious that you've been attacked twice and nothing has been found both times!" Neel exclaimed.Sara frowned, "Either you can't find the culprit, or you don't want to find him.”"So, let's say someone is really attacking you," said Neel. "Can you answer my questions? The first time, you were attacked in your bedroom. The only way in or out is through the door, but you had locked it from the inside. So how did the attacker get in?"“He must have come from the balco
"How... How is that possible? I remember, we chatted the morning I got attacked. You were the one telling me the baby was all healthy. What the hell happened?" "Maybe it's just my rotten luck, Jemma. But seeing you with Sunny, I can't help but be grateful you made it through and had a healthy baby." "Oh, Jia..." Jemma enveloped her in a tight hug, both women clinging to each other as tears flowed freely. Meanwhile, Noah reached the October Villa. As he approached, Yohan shot him a glare colder than a snowstorm. "Dad... Mom..." Noah greeted them, his eyes darting around to gauge the situation. Sunny was playing with Yohan. Noah swallowed hard, sensing trouble. "How can you be so careless, Jimmy? Why'd you let Jemma come here alone at this hour? You know the danger's not over yet," Sara scolded, her tone edged with worry. "Mom, I didn't want her to come, but she insisted..." "You're avoiding the situation, Jimmy. You can't change the past, but you shouldn't be dodging what's happ
"Jimmy, it's been days. I want to see her and the baby. What's the big deal?"He sighed, "I promise, we'll go later. I just need to sort some things out first."Jemma, growing more anxious, insisted, "But I've been waiting, Jimmy. I can't wait any longer. What's going on?"Noah, worried about her mental state, softened his tone, "Listen, babe. Trust me, I'll take you to see Jia, okay? I don't want to rush into things."Jemma, feeling a pang of doubt, couldn't hold back, "Are you hiding something from me? Why won't you just take me?""No, Jemma, it's not like that.""Jimmy..." her eyes turned tearful."Okay. I'll take you out to dinner tonight, at October Villa. Jia's staying there, and we can see her afterward. Deal?"Jemma hesitated for a moment, then agreed, "Okay, dinner it is. But you better not forget about it.Noah smiled, relieved that he had managed to divert her attention, "I won't. Now, let me get going, okay?"Jemma agreed, watching him leave for the office. As the door clo
Noah trudged back from work, the day's burdens still hanging on his shoulders. Opening the bedroom door, he caught sight of Jemma singing a lullaby to Sunny in her sweet voice. Emotions surged within him, and he quietly closed the door, not wanting to disturb their tender moment.Sinking into the living room couch, Noah leaned back with a heavy sigh. Guilt and regret enveloped him as he grappled with the reality of their situation. Conflicting emotions swirled as he recognised the joy in Jemma's happiness but couldn't shake the haunting feeling that everything was amiss.Jemma placed Sunny in the cot and, on her way to the kitchen for water, found Noah sitting in the dimly lit living room, a cigarette in one hand and a glass of whisky in the other. She touched his shoulder, and he opened his eyes, extinguishing the cigarette and placing the glass on the table."Tired?" she asked.Noah sighed deeply, rubbing the gap between his eyes. "Is Sunny asleep?"Jemma nodded, her palm on his che
The next morning dawned, casting a feeble light across the hospital room. The oxygen mask, a constant companion in her struggle for breath, had been removed, leaving her vulnerable in the stark hospital room.As Jemma slowly opened her eyes, the sterile scent of the hospital greeted her senses. Her gaze fell on Noah, sitting at the edge of the bed, his face etched with a mixture of exhaustion and sorrow. Desperation flickered in her eyes, and as she tried to speak, her voice emerged as a raspy whisper, "Jimmy... where's our baby?"Noah's heart clenched at the question, the weight of the unspoken truth hanging heavily in the air. He hesitated, avoiding her gaze, and gently urged, "Jemma, just take it easy. You need to rest."But Jemma, fueled by a mother's instinct and the gnawing fear that something was amiss, persisted, "Jimmy, please, where's our baby? Why won't you tell me?"His throat tightened with the burden of the truth he wasn't ready to share. Trying to divert her attention,
In the quiet aftermath, the doctor delivered a bittersweet message – Jia had given birth to a healthy baby boy, and she was fine. The family found themselves torn between joy for the new life and grief for the loss of Jemma's child. The terrace became a haven for Noah, who stood near the railing, his hands tucked into his pockets, gazing into the vast darkness.Jacob approached silently, standing beside him.Noah's shoulders slumped, burdened by the weight of the night. Understanding the unspoken unrest, Jacob placed a hand on Noah's shoulder."It's tough, Jimmy," Jacob finally said.Noah remained silent, still lost in the abyss of his thoughts."It's okay, Jimmy. It's not your mistake." Jacob added."You shouldn't have brought Jia here," Noah mumbled."I couldn't lie to her, and... I couldn't stop her," Jacob replied."How's she?" Noah asked, his voice strained."She's fine. Delivery went smoothly, not too hard on her. It's life.""How's the baby?" Noah's voice caught in his throat.
On a lovely evening, Jemma, bored at home, craved ice cream. Spontaneously, she called her driver and headed to the best ice cream spot. The cool sweetness lifted her spirits, turning a mundane evening into a delight. As Jemma indulged in her favourite ice cream, she decided to tease Noah, ignoring his earlier warnings about venturing out alone. Clueless about the impending twist in her evening, she initiated a video call, capturing the picturesque scene of her enjoying the sweet treat.Noah's face lit up when he saw Jemma's call, and his initial joy was evident as he glimpsed her savouring the ice cream. A smile played on his lips. However, his expression shifted when he noticed the unfamiliar surroundings and the people bustling behind her.Concern etched across his face, Noah interrupted her playful banter. "Jemma, where are you? You're not at home, are you?" he asked, his voice betraying a mix of worry and irritation.Jemma, still in her carefree mood, laughed, "Relax, Jimmy! Just
Yohan looked straight into her eyes, "Your mother didn't make a mistake giving birth to you and your brother. Being a mother ain't a mistake. The real mistake is not being able to bring a child into the world. And you didn't make a mistake wanting to bring life into this world."Jia lowered her head, tears welling up."He's a good guy. I'm proud of you."Jia rested her head on his shoulder, and he tightened his grip on her hand, patting it with his other hand."Jimmy's mad at him, not at you or your child. They're buddies. They'll figure it out.""Thanks, Dad."…Noah stepped out of the bathroom, catching sight of Jemma massaging her own feet. With a quick stride, he approached her."What are you doing? Lie down," he insisted, guiding her to lean back onto the bed. Noah grabbed a cushion, placing it behind her for support. Carefully, he lifted her leg, settling it on his thigh, and started massaging it gently.Jemma looked at him deeply, a gentle smile playing on her lips, radiating w
"Jimmy, just hear me out. It's true. It's Jacob, but...""I don't want to hurt you. Back off," he warned, and Sara covered her mouth in shock at the revelation."Mom, get her out of here," Noah yelled at his stunned mother. Jemma wasn't giving up, clinging to his arms to stop him."Jimmy, please... don't be so furious. At least try to understand. We can talk.""Jemma..." his dark eyes sent shivers down her spine, and she realized the magnitude of his anger. In the bedroom, as Jia and Jacob heard Noah's furious voice, Jia clutched Jacob's hand in fear. "Jacob...""Don't worry, I'll talk to him. Let me go.""No... no... please... please, Jacob..."Jacob gently released his hand from her grip and stepped out of the bedroom. Noah caught sight of him, and his anger surged."Freaking scoundrel!" Ignoring Jemma, he shoved her aside and lunged at Jacob."Jimmy... Jimmy..." Jemma screamed, almost drowned out by the chaos.Jacob attempted, "Jimmy, let's talk, okay.""I'll kill you!" But Noah un
"You won't do anything to him, brother. Please..." Jia approached him in fear."I'll kill that coward, Jia," Noah gritted his teeth, eyes blazing with anger."He's not a coward, brother.""This is pure cowardice. Who the hell leaves you in such a condition?" he shouted angrily."No brother, don't do anything to him. Please... he was going to tell you...""When? After the baby's born? It's been seven fucking months, Jia!" he screamed, shaking her. Jemma approached Jia, holding her shoulders, and said to Noah, "Jimmy, don't scare her. We can talk calmly.""I'm warning you, Jemma. Ask her who he is or get her ready to see his dead body in twenty-four hours."Saying that, he stormed out of the apartment furiously, leaving everyone shocked and scared. Jia sobbed, holding Jemma's hands, "Jemma... please... tell brother not to do anything to him... please... Jemma...""Calm down... calm down, Jia... don't cry... I'll talk to him."Jia rushed to Sara, stumbling into her legs, "Mom... please..
