The resort employees made distressed calls to all of their guests who are presently staying in their resort. They cautioned them all about the criminal on loose and to be safe and not open the door unless it's the cops.

Nova slowly slipped into the lake, testing its depth. He is planning to swim his way to the floating cabin if he cannot use the boats. But half way through, he realised that the lake is too deep and freezing cold. His limbs are frozen and he is unable to swim. If he still tries to reach the cabin, he might drown to his death.

"That would be very unfortunate. I am planning a very happy future with Nina. How can I die like this?" Nova thought to himself and backed out of the water.
