It was already getting late, but I couldn't go home with the state I was in. I was losing my mind, so I searched for the nearest clubhouse or bar I could find to get a drink before I ran mad.
When I was about to enter, I got stopped by the door. That's when I realized what I was wearing. I was still in my burial attire, a black long gown that covered every part of my body. Nothing slutty about it, in fact it looked churchy.
"This is an elite club, girls are not allowed unless you're with someone or you're a stripper" the bouncer said and I groaned in annoyance.
"I just need a fucking drink, I'm not here for fun"
"You can easily find a cheap bar around then, you're not allowed here"
"Come on, I just need a drink. I promise I'll be fast"
"Please leave, so that others can enter" the taller one with a big arm said glaring at me.
His large hand grabbed my shoulder and he pushed me, making me lose my balance. I closed my eyes expecting to land on the ground but I felt another large arm around my waist.
My eyes snapped open and met with ocean blue eyes which I got lost in for a moment before I got myself together and pushed the stranger away.
Standing upright, I almost choked on my spit and I looked at the Adonis of a man in front of me. Not only were his eyes beautiful, but he had a beautiful long and thick lash to compliment them. Longer than mine who is a girl. I noticed the little beard that surrounded his full pink lips as he spoke.
"What's going on here?" His voice was stern and hoarse. He had a powerful Aura, I could tell he was a powerful man.
"She doesn't pass the criteria, she can't enter sir" the dark-skinned guy explained, bowing his head as he spoke.
Mr Adonis looked at me, his eyes raking all over my body causing me to squirm uncomfortably under his gaze. My dress might be long but it brought out my silhouette.
He looked back at my face, then a little smirk played on his lips.
"Let her in, she's with me" he said, shocking me.
While I was still wondering why he helped me, he was already walking into the club.
As we walked in, a few people's gaze followed us with curious eyes, while some just minded their business.
I noticed that Mr Adonis was about to enter the VVIP area, and I stopped abruptly coming back to my senses.
This man helped my pathetic self in and I still want to take advantage of him by following him there.
I turned back immediately and joined the crowd, people still gave me a look but I ignored them as I found the bar. I ordered a drink, and while I was waiting. A rough hand grabbed my wrist causing me to turn.
"Who said you could leave?" Mr Adonis glowered at me.
"I--"
Before I could reply, he pulled me off the chair and dragged me away.
"Wait! My drink.." he ignored my protest and dragged me into the VIP room.
The room was empty with only his guards who were standing by the door and the two strippers who were twirling rhythmically to Cardi B's WAP.
"Sit!" he commanded softly yet insistent, and I found myself responding almost involuntarily.
He sat down beside me on the long couch, making himself as comfortable as he could. It seemed this was his personal room.
I couldn't help but wonder how rich he was to have a personal room in an elite club like this.
"What do you want to drink?" his voice broke me out of reverie.
"Huh?"
Just then the bartender appeared, he ordered a bottle of whiskey and the bartender turned to me.
"Umm, just give me something strong" I told him, he nodded and left.
We both sat in silence as we watched the strippers perform until the bartender brought our drink.
"Your drink sir" he said, dropping a bottle of whiskey and wine glass on the table in front of Mr Adonis.
He moved to me "Here's a shot of tequila for you miss"
A shot? That won't do.
"I'll have two more please?" I said as I grabbed the one he brought off the table and drowned the contents before handing the glass back to him.
I felt Mr Adonis's piercing gaze on me, but that isn't the pressing matter now. I just want to get drunk.
"Yes, Miss. I'll be back right away!" he nodded and turned to leave.
"Bring the whole bottle" Mr Adonis spoke, making the bartender pause and nod before moving on to get my drink.
"Thank you" I said to Mr Adonis flashing him a quick smile.
"Having a rough day?" he inquired.
"A very shitty one" I sighed, I was starting to feel lightheaded from just one shot.
He just hummed in response and took a sip from his drink.
Isn't he going to ask me if I want to talk about it? Because if he asks, I won't hesitate to rant, I badly want to release all this pent up anger.
God, I need a drink.
I snatched the bottle of whiskey off his own table and poured some into the glass. I drank it all in one go.
I took a look at him and I almost melted in my seat when I saw the look on his face. He was glaring at me.
"I'm sorry.. I just needed it" I chuckled nervously.
He closed his eyes and sucked in a deep breath as though he was trying to keep a lid off his anger. The moment he opened his eyes back I got lost in those blue eyes that were like the ocean, vast and deep with secrets and mysteries lurking beneath the surface.
Gosh, why does he look so sexy. My eyes flicked from his eyes to his lip, high cheekbones, then to his long and thick hand placed on his thigh. Gosh, I wondered what skill those long fingers could perform, they looked so delightful.
My eyes moved back to his lips as he ran his tongue over it a few times making me swallow hard.
Oh god, that was hot.
I feel so hot. I think it's the drink working.
I took in a sharp breath and tore my gaze away. Mr Adonis had a snarky smirk on his face, making me feel more embarrassed.
Just then, the bartender brought my drink. "Thank you" I said absentmindedly and I grabbed the tequila and poured myself another drink.
I was about to pour myself another, when a large hand grabbed the bottle, I turned to him and frowned, attempting to snatch the bottle away from his grasp.
He narrowed his eyes at me, still not releasing the bottle. He shifted closer, leaving just an inch between us, his expensive cologne hit my nose and I almost inched closer to sniff him more.
"Release it" he said, his voice soft, calm, and collected yet laced with so much menace that made me shudder.
I released my grip on the bottle and he put it away.
What he did next surprised me. He pulled me off my seat and dragged me to his lap. I was still processing what was happening when laid me down on the couch, his large body towering over me.
I'm supposed to be scared. Why am I getting aroused by this? It must be the alcohol effect.
He closed the small distance between us resting his hands on both sides of the couch caging my body between them.
He dipped his head low until his lips were brushing my ear, his warm breath skating over my skin making me shiver. "What's your name?" he whispered into my ears.
"Amery" I barely whispered back. I was a mess, I knew he could hear my labored breath and feel how turned on I was.
"Hmmm" his hands raked over my body from my waist and then he stopped when he reached my ass and looked at me as if asking for permission.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't turned on by him. But he was a stranger, I knew nothing about him.
"What now? Weren't you eye fucking me minutes ago" he smirked.
My heart raced as I squeezed my thigh together to stop the throbbing between my legs. The sensation was overwhelming, I needed to get it together before I lost control. I only came here to get drunk, not get laid.
You just buried her father for crying out loud. Amery get your act together.
"Hmm...I can't..I have a boyfriend" I muttered and I almost regretted telling him that because the way his expression turned cold was scary.
"Oh!" he stood up, the warmth from his body vanishing leaving me feeling cold and needy.
Fuck it! I'm doing it.
I let out a long breath and said. "But.. One night wouldn't hurt"
He turned to look at me, narrowing his eyes at my change of decision, I seized the opportunity and leaned in closer, slamming my lips to his hungrily.
