“ I... Hmmm, my brother got into a little bit of an accident.” She said, her mood dampened and her blush disappeared. She suddenly felt like going back to the hospital.

“ ohh I'm sorry. Is he okay now?” he asked concern evident on his face.

“ He is still unconscious but the doctors said he is just sleeping,” She said trying to control the panic in her but Chris could hear it. He stated rubbing circles on her back as a form of little comfort he can offer at that moment. She smiled at the contact, maybe he cares more than she thought.

“ If you don't mind, can I pay a visit?” He asked and she nodded yes. He straightened his rumpled shirt and adjust his tie before opening the door for both of them. She used her hand to brush a few strands of hair that escaped her messy bun during their kiss earlier.
