Chapter 481

When Nathan suddenly aimed the gun at Karen, Liam's heart pounded in his chest as he feared for her life.

His expression quickly turned grim, a dark frown forming on his face. His first thought was to jump on Nathan and disarm him, which would have been easy enough for Liam, since he had supper speed, however he immediately stopped himself, knowing that there was still a chance he might not be able to move fast enough before Nathan could pull the trigger. And even if he was able to disarm Nathan his companions were still armed and they might be able to pull the trigger.

“Nathan, stop!” he commanded, his tone icy but with a hint of fear. “I'll do anything you want, just put the gun away.”

It was only natural that he would be afraid after seeing a weapon pointed at Karen. She meant so much to him, and he was afraid that Nathan might pull the trigger.
