Approaching the reception desk, Erin took out her ID card and handed it to the receptionists, who took it and swiped it on the machine. Erin had to give her ID to the hospital receptionist as part of the enhanced security measures implemented due to the fact that two very important people were admitted at the hospital. The receptionist was taking time to check the ID, and apparently it annoyed Erin. She rolled her eyes and scoffed. "Where is the other receptionist? The other one is faster at this and doesn't take up too much of my time." She said, her annoyance visible in her tone.

The receptionist who was clearly new to the job, looked up at Erin with an apologetic gaze, she seemed flustered and didn't know what to say. "I'm very sorry, Ms Erin, I'm still learning."
