Just then her cellphone rang, and she took it out and answered it. It was her friend Shannon calling.

"Hey, I'll be there in an hour." Karen said over the phone and hung up.

Sighing, she stood up from the sofa and briefly glanced at Liam, "Hey, I have something to do, so I'll see you around."

Liam nodded, as he watched her walk out through the door. "Yeah, see you later."

At that same time, his cell phone chimed, signaling the arrival of a new text message, and he picked it up and looked at the text message. The message was from Lana, and she had sent him the location of where they should 'hang out.'

She said hang out, but Liam knew it was actually a date, seeing as she had picked one of the most romantic restaurants in the city.

Sighing, Liam checked his wrist watch and saw the time, it was almost 6 pm, it was time to go on that date with Lana, so he stood up and immediately got ready.
