Leaving the house

" I am moving out! You will be fine from now on!" Sia, kinda sounds pissed, looks at Emma who is standing in front of the refrigerator, trying to drink some water. Since she has been unable to drink or eat anything, she is having a hard time physically.

Hearing Sia, in this early morning, she wants to scoff. Sia lies a lot and it's another lie.

However, when she hears the sound of suitcases being taken out by a middle aged woman, she turns towards Sia.

" It's true." Sia shrugs her shoulders, noticing the confusion on her face.

" Your parents' divorce is done?" Emma finally asked. As she didn't expect that.

" No. But I am moving in with my mother. Yeah. You have successfully made me get out of this house. That's so pathetic!" She rolls her eyes and walks towards her mother.

Emma looks at Sia's mother. She looks young but exhausted.

But when her eyes meet the woman's eyes, she flinches. Sia's mother gives her a nasty glare before walking out of the house.

She doesn't know why but her body shivers subconsciously.

" Isn't Vincent going to see you off?" She asks. Not because she wants to mock or something. It has become so normal for Emma to watch Vincent being around her so much that she doesn't mind asking.

However, Sia pauses and turns towards her with a sour expression. " You're really shameless. I have been trying to keep calm but you are really.... Really getting on my nerves!" She spats and walks towards her furiously.

" It was me who helped him out of his abusive family. It is me who gave him everything... It was me who did part time jobs to help him with his company. But now, because of you, he is kicking me out. Isn't it so ironic?" She grits her teeth. Eyes are welling up.

Emma doesn't know why she can't feel any sympathy for those eyes. It looks too fake to feel this way. In fact she doesn't care.

" If you did everything to him, why did you reject him to marry you?" She asks calmly.

" What?" Sia looks shocked.

" Your behavior is like jealous ex-girlfriend who wants to win the one who got away. It's pathetic to watch you trying your best to get his attention and you have successfully done by separating him from his wife."

" Are you trying to tell me I am a homewrecker?" She grits her teeth.

" Does it sound like that? Anyway, No worries. I am sure if you throw yourself on him, he will take you immediately. That's how he takes his responsibility so seriously for you. He is willing to throw away his marital responsibility for his friend who saved him. Like a movie character! Such a good man!" She scoffs and walks towards the living room.

But her eyebrows raise slightly when she notices Vincent is standing there with a foreign expression that she never witnessed before.

She doesn't know why but her eyes immediately avert away from him. As if an instant regret of saying those words kicked her consciousness.

" That's how you think about me!"

She stops when Vincent mumbles and looks at her. She lowers her head and attempts to leave the room. She doesn't want to make things worse for her. After all, she has thought worse than it is. And she can't help since he made it this way.

" I am sorry, Vincent. I shouldn't have told you about this girl on that day. Or you might have found someone who values you and your feelings. She is just a twisted minded woman who cares about herself only. Such a bit-!"

" ENOUGH!!!" Vincent yells at her, " Leave!" He says shutting the door on her face.

Sia looks shocked and speechless. Tears start forming around her eyes. She lowers her gaze before screaming, " I won't come back here anymore. You jerk. Mom is right. Men are aholes who forget about the hand which fed them. How dare you!!! I hate you! Never come back to me!" Kicking the door, Sia walks out with her mother. Obviously, both of them are furious at Emma. Nobody wants to leave such a massive and extravagant house. At least Sia's mother thought her daughter would finally settle in somewhere big.
