What does that star constellation mean to Domenic that he would give it to Autumn as a birthday present? So far it has been a lovely birthday dinner, hopefully nothing goes wrong. Stay tuned, like and comment.
"What is it, let me see." Summer said as she angled the box through her. "It's beautiful, here let me help you put it on." She took it out of the box and put it around my neck as I centered it. "That looks familiar, Don't you have that tattooed on your thigh?" Joshua suddenly spoke up and Domenic's eyes widened in suprise. God what do I do, he will know I got it because of him. I simply nod my head as I go for my glass of wine. "Excuse me, I have to go to the bathroom." I get up and start walking as the doorbell rings. "I'll take that." I say as I go to open the door. Anything to get out of that situation. I even forgot I invited Leo until I saw him standing in front of the door. "Leo, you made it." I say as we hug. "It was tricky but here I am, here this is for you." He handed me a rose bouquet and a small gift bag. "It was a bit of short notice but I hope you like it." "You didn't have to get me anything, you being here is more than enough." I smile as I let him in. "You deserv
"Domenic... makes me feel a lot of things. Several of those things I don't really want to discuss in front of you, Summer." She lifts her coffee in the air. "Amen to that, but tell us are you gonna give him a chance?" I have no idea about what am I gonna eat later even less what I'm gonna do with Domenic. "What would you guys advise me to do?" I relax my chin on my knees as I sigh. "Honestly, give him a chance." Anthony says. "He seems like a great guy when he doesn't look at me like he wants to kill me." He shrugs as Summer smacks his shoulder. "I second that, give Dom a chance. Besides he looks like he's amazing in bed." Joshua added. "You may think I'm biased, but I would love to have you as my sister-in-law." If this was the jury, they are all in favor of Domenic. Case closed. "You know what? I'll think about it. But you Summer, not a word to your brother." I say as Summer mimics her mouth being closed. Maybe a chance is exactly what we need Domenic, for better or for worse
Leo is calling, and Domenic just saw it on the screen. "Excuse me for a moment." I say as I head out to the porch. "Hello." "Hey, Autumn. I just came by the cafe, they told me you were out." Leo says as I look behind me at Domenic chatting with Anthony and Summer. "Yes, I won't be back until next week." I walk a bit further from the door. "We have something to talk about." I can't really do it over the phone. "Sure, sound serious, everything ok?" Leo asks. "Yes, Leo. Look I have to leave now, but I'll talk to you when I get back." "Sure thing, Bye Autumn." "Bye Leo." As I hang up the phone and turn around I bump into Domenic's chest. "I hope you didn't invite your... friend. We are out of rooms." He says, clearly irritated. "He can always sleep with me." The words come out of my mouth without thinking. I regret them as soon as I say them. Domenic takes my hand and leads me off the porch. We walk for several minutes until we come to a big tree where Domenics pins me against it
We didn't say anything, we didn't need to. Our eyes did it for us, and the edge of his lip almost curled in a smile probably thinking I had it done for him. Which was only partly true. I clear my throat and he goes back into action, carefully removing my pants revealing I didn't actually impale myself on the branch. It had only cut the side of my leg and the blood was just scandalous. It did hurt like a bit*h, that was true. "Let's wash this first.” Domenic got up and took a towel to place it under my leg, then he took the smoker one and dipped it into the hot water. He tapped the damp cloth on my bloody leg cleaning the wound so intently while I watched his handsome face. "How does that feel?" He asked as he went to open the first aid kit. "It hurts, but it's not unbearable." I say as I try to pull my shirt down so it at least covers my panties. "Now this will sting, but we need to disinfect the wound." I nodded my head because at that moment I thought how bad could it probably h
"Can I have my phone?" I say as I extend my hand. "Leo, he's worried about what you wanted to talk to him." He hands the phone to me. "Don't read my messages. Respect my privacy." I say as I open the message myself. Hey, you left me worried, what do we need to talk about? "So what is so important you need to discuss with him?" Jealousy is not a good look on him. "That's between Leo and me." I say as I lean back on the bed. "There is no Leo and you, ok? There can only be Domenic and Autumn-" I can't help but laugh, I never thought I would see him like this. "You are being ridiculous you know. He's my friend." I say as I put my phone on the side. "I know perfectly well what kind of a friend he is, and that stops today." Domenic clenches his fist over the bed frame. "Oh, you are ordering me now?" It would be easier to just tell him I already planned to stop seeing Leo in that way, but seeing him like this makes me wanna tease him more. "Yes, a woman like you has no business havi
After we ate we wanted to go outside and sit on the porch but as soon as we stepped outside the rain started pouring and we had no other choice but to quickly return inside. "Four adults and no one thought to look up what was the weather gonna be like? Domenic said as we all watched the rain pour through the window. "Don't look at me, when your sister invited me I thought she had it all covered." Anthony said while he whipped the raindrops from Summers's shoulders. "You my friend have too much faith in my sister." Domenic teased Summer but I pulled at his arm and shaked my head so he would stop. He smiled and kissed the top of my head. It felt nice as I melted into his embrace. "OK, why don't we just go and watch a movie or something? Maybe it will clear out." I suggest that we all move into the living room. Three hours later, it was already dark outside and we were on our second movie as the rain didn't show signs of stopping. I was sitting on the couch and had my legs lying ove
"Oh my God Domenic." I scream as I take my shirt and put it over my chest and get off of him. "What?" He asks and I point to the window. The second Domenic sees him he runs out the door and starts running after the figure. I put my shirt back on quickly and take the firepick by the fireplace and head to the porch, it's so dark I can't see anything. I tried turning the light on but the light bulb was shattered and glass was all over the floor. "What happened, are you ok?" Anthony came behind me and I almost took a swing at him. "Summer wasn't imagining things, she really saw someone. I saw them too, Domenic went chasing after them." Which now seems like a bad idea. "Why did I let him go after them, what if they hurt him?" I say as I start going down the stairs as fear fills my chest. "You stay here with Summer, I'll go look for Domenic." Anthony took the firepick from my hand and turned the flashlight on his phone. "And lock the door." I do as he said. It surprised me that Summer
I woke up to the sound of a bird chirping outside my window and I stretched my body before opening my eyes only to find Domenic staring at me. "Don't look at me I'm probably a mess." I say as I brush my hair behind my ears. "Never, you always look beautiful." He says as he lowers a kiss on my lips. "What time is it?" I sit up and try to grab my phone when Domenic flips me over and gets on top of me. "It's still early, I'm sure Summer and Anthony are still asleep." He says as he brushes his nose against mine. I put my palms on his face and dragged my fingers along his jawline. "Crap, that means we have to prepare our own breakfast." I try to get up but he lovers me down once again. "Or we can stay in bed a little longer." He said as his hand traveled down my leg leaving behind goosebumps. I let my hands travel down his shoulders to his chest until I touched his tattoo. "The Cassiopeia constolation." I trace the line and each little star with my figure. "You never told me why you
