Chapter 26 - Miserable without you

After we ate we wanted to go outside and sit on the porch but as soon as we stepped outside the rain started pouring and we had no other choice but to quickly return inside.

"Four adults and no one thought to look up what was the weather gonna be like? Domenic said as we all watched the rain pour through the window.

"Don't look at me, when your sister invited me I thought she had it all covered." Anthony said while he whipped the raindrops from Summers's shoulders.

"You my friend have too much faith in my sister." Domenic teased Summer but I pulled at his arm and shaked my head so he would stop. He smiled and kissed the top of my head. It felt nice as I melted into his embrace.

"OK, why don't we just go and watch a movie or something? Maybe it will clear out." I suggest that we all move into the living room.

Three hours later, it was already dark outside and we were on our second movie as the rain didn't show signs of stopping.
