Chapter 10 - They weren't lies

Two weeks later I was standing in the one place I never imagined myself, Domenic's kitchen, trying to save the last piece of toast he just burned.

"I told you I would do it." I say to him as I try to fish out the toast from the toaster. Iv been coming to his penthouse to help him take care of Summer because she refused to get a nurse, and once I offered it's not like I could take it back.

"It's a toast. How complicated could it be?" Said Domenic to which I just waved the burned toast in his face.

"Does anyone care that I don't even want the toast?" Summer yelled from the living room couch.

"Fine, I'll make you a smoothie bowl." I yelled back as I moved to the refrigerator and Domenic went to clean the counter.

"You don't need to do it, I'll clean it later." I say as I put the fruit on the cutting board. He tossed the bread crumbs aside as he walked over to me from behind pinning my stomach onto the kitchen island as he prests himself against my ass.
