Volume 1 – Chapter 1 Mental illness ran away

During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, heroes rose up and the Central Plains was divided into seven parts. There was a counselor who lived in seclusion. This person has the ability to penetrate the sky and the earth , and has the ability to control vertically and horizontally. He also has extraordinary attainments in the art of war, Qi Men Dun Jia, and the Five Elements and Bagua. There are even more disciples under his banner, and only five hundred disciples have controlled the entire Spring and Autumn battlefield for more than a hundred years. Later generations respectfully call him Mr. Guigu.

According to legend, Mr. Wang wrote a book in his later years, which is a collection of the work of hundreds of schools of thought and the essence of Mr. Wang. Some people say that this book contains secrets from the heavens and was taken into a coffin by the husband and buried deep underground. Some people also say that because they were afraid of being punished by God, they were taken into the mountains and stayed there for a long time. If future generations get this book and understand one or two of it, they will be able to turn danger into good fortune and gain access in all directions. Therefore, its reputation spread far and wide, prompting later generations to scramble to search for it, but all failed until the present day. . . . . .

At the end of the 20th century, Changbaishan Mental Sanatorium. . . . . .

"Everyone go back to your beds, we're getting ready to take the medicine!"

A male nurse in a white coat pushed a trolley into the ward. On the trolley were various pills in small boxes, classified into categories, with each patient's name written on them to prescribe the right medicine.

In this hospital, no matter the doctors or nurses, even the cleaning and canteen staff, they are all male, just because this is a tertiary-level mental hospital, which is called a mental sanatorium to the outside world.

If these patients go crazy, a five-foot-tall man may not be able to hold them down, let alone a female nurse. This is why all female staff in the hospital were replaced by men.

The leading middle-aged doctor led several young doctors from the hospital towards a patient who had been treating him for half a year.

This is a patient with obsessive-compulsive disorder and extreme fantasy. I saw him sitting numbly on the edge of the bed, constantly saying: "Slingshot, slingshot..."

The middle-aged doctor said to the others: "This patient's symptoms are very typical. When he first came here, he was running around. Now he can sit safely by the bed. He has improved a lot. Now let's make a preliminary analysis of his current situation. diagnosis."

In order to divert the patient's attention, the middle-aged doctor specially brought in a TV, placed it in front of the patient, and said, "Come, let's watch TV."

The middle-aged doctor showed him a beauty fashion show, with all the beauties wearing gorgeous clothes and showing off their coquettish looks on the stage.

After a while, the patient's attention was attracted and he unconsciously made a sound of "hey hey hey".

Seeing this, the middle-aged doctor turned off the TV again. Pull the patient's eyes out of the television. This is to redirect the patient's attention to himself.

The middle-aged doctor asked: "Does it look good?"

The patient replied naively: "It looks good."

"Then tell me, what are you thinking about after seeing this beauty?"

The patient was a little shy and vague, and looked like a big girl. Said: "I...I...I want to take off her clothes."

The middle-aged doctor smiled calmly and then asked: "Then?"

"I...I want to take off her shoes."

"What's next?"

"I want to put her on the bed and take off her pants."

As he spoke, the patient's eyes gradually became excited. A young doctor next to him looked at the patient's wretched appearance and muttered in a low voice: "Old gangster."

After hearing this, the middle-aged doctor explained softly: "This is what a normal person thinks, which means that his thinking has begun to become normal."

Then he asked: "Tell me, what do you want to do after taking off your pants?"

"I..., I want to... take off... take off her pants." At this point, the patient actually covered his face with his hands and became shy. This suddenly made the doctors around him laugh softly.

The middle-aged doctor felt a little relieved, thinking that the treatment had finally worked, and then asked: "Then?"

The patient couldn't wait to say, "Well...then take out the monkey rubber band from her pants and make a slingshot to hit your window."

Hearing this, the smile on the middle-aged doctor's face immediately tightened, and the young doctors around him also snickered when they heard the sound .

The middle-aged doctor glared at the patient, turned back, stood up, and left without the slightest trace of nostalgia. He said to the young doctors behind him: "Increase the dose of medicine and give him another course of treatment."

"yes... ..."

Then the middle-aged doctor came to another ward. This ward was very different from the other wards. It was not as noisy as the other wards. In comparison, it's eerily quiet here.

I saw a young and handsome boy in his early twenties sitting silently in front of the window sill, looking at the blue sky and white clouds outside the window.

This patient has been in this hospital for three years, and for three years he has not said a word. It's like a question mark. No one knows where he comes from or what his name is. All we know is that he became like this after he was rescued from a collapsed cave, and was then sent to a mental sanatorium to recuperate to this day.

After the doctor's diagnosis, he was suspected to be severely autistic, but after such a long period of treatment, he showed no sign of recovery.

The middle-aged doctor brought a courier and handed it to him. This is an express delivery without a sender. Only the recipient's hospital bed number is written on it.

This kind of thing is not uncommon in nursing homes. Some relatives are afraid that the hospital will contact the patient's relatives and cause trouble for them. It often happens that contact with a patient is cut off directly. But some relatives are worried that the patient will not be well fed or clothed warmly in the hospital, so sometimes they send some food and clothing without the sender's information.

However, this was the first time the doctor received an email without the sender's name, and he felt a little puzzled. But he didn't think much about it. His mission was just to cure every patient here. He didn't want to think about the rest.

The doctor put the mail in front of the boy, and the boy remained silent .

After seeing this, the middle-aged doctor had to leave quietly and shook his head, seeming to be very sympathetic to the boy's severe autism symptoms.

Not long after the doctor left, about three minutes passed, and the boy was still looking out the window, completely ignoring the express mail placed beside him.

Early the next morning. . . . . .

The doctor began a routine examination, which was his daily job.

When I checked the juvenile ward, I suddenly discovered that the juvenile was missing. The window was wide open , and the curtains beside the window swung out of the window with the breeze outside.

"Where are they?" The middle-aged doctor shouted anxiously, while the young doctors around him all looked at each other, at a loss. It is not a trivial matter for a mental patient to escape from the hospital. If there is an incident of hurting people, this nursing home will not be able to continue to operate.

"Hurry up to the monitoring room and adjust the monitoring." A group of people rushed to the monitoring room in a panic, but it was still the same. They were busy in vain. There was no trace of the boy at all, and the ward door did not appear to be pried open.

"Could it be..., could it be that he jumped out of the window?" the middle-aged doctor said silently.

The young doctor next to him replied: "How is that possible? His ward is on the fifth floor. He wouldn't have died if he jumped."

"How about we call the police!" Another young doctor said.

"No! You can't call the police!" the middle-aged doctor answered simply.

Then he thought about it and said: "I have kept this matter in my stomach, and no one is allowed to mention it. If the patient is lost, we are all responsible. Besides, the patient will not disappear for no reason. The nursing home is so big, Is it possible that he can still get wings and fly? Look for him, find them all for me, look for them inch by inch in the hospital."

After hearing this, everyone quickly contacted the security of the hospital. Doctors and nurses from all departments were dispatched to patrol the nursing home , except for the use of police dogs.

But in the end nothing was found, only the mail was left on the window sill. The difference is that at this time, the contents of the mail have been taken away by the boy in black, and disappeared into the mental sanatorium with the boy in black. . . . . .
