Meanwhile, Lucy anxiously paced back and forth outside the ward, worry etched on her face.

"I wonder how my grandfather is doing…"

Since the ward's door had closed, Lucy felt like each day dragged on endlessly.

As for Jimmy, who should have returned to Asterion long ago, it was unclear whether he stayed there out of concern for Julian's possible accident or to assist. Perhaps he was waiting to reprimand Liam, or maybe he harbored some unrealistic hope.

Regardless, Jimmy did not choose to leave. He stood in the corridor alongside her.

"Miss Hill, there's no need to be overly anxious," Jimmy comforted. "Being anxious won't help. All we can do now is wait patiently. At least there haven't been any emergencies in the ward."

Jimmy paused and sighed. Then, he softly advised, "However, the head of the Hill family is unwell. Miss Hill, you should be prepared for the worst at any time."
