Chapter 139 Internal Issues

I could only hear Atlas’s breath on the other end. Finally, he said, “You’ve been causing trouble for me for a long time now. What should we do about it?”

I tensed up and tightened my grip on the phone. Atlas’s words caught me off guard, and I asked, “W-What do you mean?”

I think it’s because he is the father of her child and in some sense even though he has done all these horrible things to her she has a sense of honor in trying to handle things as respectfully as possible. I on the other hand would have sent his and Melanie’s behind to jail permanently!!

With everything he's done to here and clearly he showed many times that he wasn't going to change or have any attachment for her & his daughter for all the years they were together as a family......why is she not going all out to put him in jail?.
