Chapter 1206 A Reasonable Argument

"What you said is not right, Arnold! What do you mean he doesn’t need me? That’s my dad we’re trying to save!" I followed him downstairs. "I'm bringing Anya as my guide. What's so dangerous about that?"

"I said you’re not allowed to go, and that's final! Atlas said the same before leaving too," Arnold insisted, not even turning his head to look at me.

"Did he discuss this with you? I didn't know that." I was surprised by his attitude. He had never been like this before.

I was about to argue with him as we entered the dining room. But when I saw that the room was full, I quickly shut my mouth. Even my dad was here.

Ava had stopped crying. All her attention was now on Anya. She ran to my side excitedly. "Mommy, did you know? We have a new friend, and she's so pretty. Look!"

Arnold only noticed Anya now as he saw her sitting next to Grandma Rose.

"Did you invite your new friend to breakfast?" I smiled at Ava.

"Yes, I did." Ava nodded seriously, then ran over. "I'll have breakfast
