“Because of me?” I pointed at myself, “W-why?” I was baffled, but so was she. I could tell she didn’t want to spill that by her expression.

Her pupils were shaking.

“Tell me,” I demanded, “Why?” We were already at this point, so she might as well spill the rest.

“Because,” She looked away with one left hand on her right elbow, “Jena doesn’t want to leave you alone and go with him.”

My eyes went wide as my mouth was left hanging. It’s me again? She’s doing something for me again?!! She’s sacrificing her happiness for me, again!??
