Startled by the accidental kiss, we both froze for a split second, our eyes widened in surprise as the bustling sounds of the street seemed to fade away as I tried to process the unexpected intimacy. I mean, this was the plan but I wasn’t expecting it to actually happen accidentally.
The bomb had already blown but as the impact set in, so did panic. I didn’t know how to react, because come to think of it, I hadn’t kissed anyone before. My lips quivered but that only made me feel his lips more. I felt his breath on mine and when I breathed shakily, I’m sure he felt the air on his mouth too.
I could feel my pupils shaking and my heart thumping violently in my chest. It was then though, I saw it again, I saw his eyes flash gold, and this time I knew I didn’t see it.
