CHAPTER 5: Fake in Love

"Hey." Rick said as I entered his car. 

"Hey." I smiled and gave him a hug.

"You look cute and comfy." He said and I chuckled nodding.

"You told me to.." 

"I did and you did a good job." He patted my head. 

"Ready to go?" He asked as I put on my seatbelt. 

"Yes." Rick drove us to the place and the entire ride was fun. He kept giving me topics to talk and he's very easy going. 

"I was thinking that you like dessert so I have to bring you to a place where they have speciality in desserts." He said and I smiled nodding.

"I love dessert." 

"Great!" 

He stopped a cute building and he parked right behind it. He apparently have access to it from the back so we won't be getting attention from the crowd. We arrived and the manager already waiting for us. They gave us a private room.

"Here's the menu." The waiter said as he gave us two menus. 

"You can order as much as you like."

"I'll order a cheesecake with caramel sauce and fluffy pancakes." I said and gave the menu back.

"How about you, sir?"

"I'll get the birthday waffle and matcha ice cream please."

"Very well." The waiter left and it's just us both.

"How's work?" He asked.

"Nice, how about you? You had your concert last week right?"

"Yes and it's such a shame that you can't come." He pouted and I nodded.

"Sorry, I had a lot of schedule on that day." I apologized and he smiled. He's looking at me a lot and it made me question myself.

"I have something on my face huh?"

"No, it's just.. I'm so.. I like you a lot." I didn't see that coming.

"Oh."

"I like you a lot and I'm serious about it." I looked at him confused because I don't even know my own feelings. "I know other guys are chasing you too but I will treat you better than them." 

"I don't know."

"I'll do anything.. anything to make you mine." Our order came and I'm glad but not glad at the same time. We both went silent but I tried to act normal.

"This is so good, you have to try mine." I said as I pushed my plate. 

"You look happy."

"It's dessert." We kept talking about our work and I'm glad he didn't touch the topic. It was enough for me that I can't be with him. I don't have feelings for him even though I try to tell myself that he's a great guy. 

"Thank you for bringing me here." I said and he smiled.

"You're welcome, Deandra. Anything for you."

"Let me take you home, I know you're tired and we can go out again next time." See.. he's a good guy and why can't I like him? 

A month later.. 

"Do we really have to cut my bangs?" I asked my hair stylist, Cindy, and she nodded.

"Don't worry, it won't be short. We'll dye your hair after this." Cindy said and I sighed. 

"Okay." She cut my bangs and dyed all my hair to black. I looked different but I like it. I thought I won't but surprisingly I like it. 

"Do I have a schedule today?" I asked Jess.

"Yeah.. photoshoot for Spring Sparks and then we have a little filming for the teaser." Jess said.

"Okay, roger that." I said. After I'm done with my hair, Jess drove me to the studio for the photoshoot. I grabbed a quick lunch from salad stop. 

I walked into the studio and I went straight to the changing room. I changed into a red dress and they put make up on me. I looked at the mirror after I'm done and I got up from my seat. 

I put on my highheels and walked out from the changing room. I almost bumped into Sky. 

"You should get another eye." I hissed.

"You're the one who need it." He said as he looked at me from head to toe. 

"Look different with black hair." He commented.

"Don't drool, you look like a fool." I smirked and walked past him. I walked towards the photographer who introduced himself as Matt. Stuart came to the set and he loved my black hair. It suited my role and they wanted me to have black hair. 

"Sky and Deandre, please get inside the frame. We wanna test it first before adjusting some things." Matt said and I nodded. I stepped into the frame and Sky stood next to me. 

"Okay, give us a second."

"Hello Sky and Deandra, I'm Callie. I'm going to lead you in this photoshoot." 

"Nice to meet you." I shook her head and Sky did the same.

"Can you two hold hands and face the camera?" She said as she guided us. I turned to Sky and he put his hand in front of me. I took it and I felt electricity shock my body. I bet he felt the same thing. 

"Please bring one chair.." Callie said and one of the staff brought a chair. 

"Deandra, please sit on Sky's lap." Shit. Sky sat down and he grabbed me by my waist making me sit on his lap. I leaned my body back to him and he wrapped his arms around my waist. They took some photos and I was trying to hard not to act nervous. My heart is beating like crazy.

"Bring the sofa in!" Callie shouted. We both got up from the chair.

"Sky, please sit down on the corner and Deandra, you can sit on him. Look at him and put your hand on his cheek. Have your face near his." Callie said and Sky sat first. I sat on him and he held my waist tightly. I leaned my face close to him and I could see him gulping nervously. I found myself chuckling.

"Nervous?" I asked.

"You should ask yourself, I can feel your heart beating so fast." That's when I glared at him.

"Now.. kiss." Oh God. 

"Backing out?" Sky smirked and I shook my head before cupping his face to kiss him. He kissed me back when he doesn't need to. 

"Okay good!" I pulled away and Sky's eyes darkened. I leaned to his ear.

"You should take care of your friend." I smirked.
