Mia’s Point of View

There was a knock, on Mia’s door. She quickly jumped off the bed and rushed to the door. By opening the door, she found her mother standing on the other side with a confused look on her face. Maya knew Mia did not know why she was there.

“Oh hi. Is something wrong?” I asked Maya with one eyebrow raised.

“Nothing's wrong sweetie, it's just that I just want to inform you that your father said those men could stay the night. When you go out please just be careful we don't know these people and we don't know what they're capable of.” Maya said with concern in her voice.

“Don't worry. I can protect myself. I have done it for twenty-one years, remember.” I let out a giggle.

“Please just be safe. Okay?” Maya rubbed my arm before turning around and walking away.

Mia closed the door, and she made their way to her closet. Opening it in search of shoes. Surprisingly, she found flats and she quickly put them on. Leaving her room when she did her nightly stroll through th

Asher’s Point of View “For fuck sakes! It’s so hard to get good help these days. Idiotic people.” Asher yelled then he punched the wall. Then threw a mug making it shatter on the ground. “What’s wrong sweety?” Mace asked, sitting calmly. Knitting. “Did the Roman boy find our so-called daughter?” “He did. Lucky for him, she does not remember him pushing her off that fucking cliff. Why on earth did he do that in the first place? You can teach them but you can’t make the shit stick.” Falling into my chair and giving out a sigh. “Do not worry. That boy knows what he has to do and what will happen to him if he doesn’t. If Danyon finds out what he had done, he will be banished. Then we just play dumb and pretend we had nothing to do with any of it.” A smile appeared on Mace’s face while continuing knitting. “That kid needs to have her at the old military base before she decides to go all wolf on us. Otherwise, we are going to be, screwed. And most likely dead.” Staring towards the pict

Roman’s Point of View “Why the fuck can’t you just stay on the horse?” I slowed down and stopped the horse to move Mia back making sure she doesn’t fall off. Mia let out a moan. “Shit, you can’t wake up now.” Looking inside of the bag on the side of my horse. Grabbing the drug, I used on the cloth. “Here you go sweety, just sleep a little bit more. Okay.” Placing the cloth over her mouth and nose she passed out again. Roman drugged Mia again making sure she doesn’t wake up. They have been on the move for almost three hours. “Just a little bit further to go. Almost there.” Taking my phone out of my pocket and dialing the number I did the night before. The phone started ringing. “Come on pick up, pick up.” “Hello?” The voice said sounding very sleepy. “Asher, I got her. I’m only a few miles away from the meeting spot.” Saying this I climbed onto my horse. “Good. We will meet you there tomorrow. Place the chains on her so that we don’t have this issue of her disappearing again.” As

Mia’s Point of View Laying on the ground seemingly lifeless. Small breaths. Slowly, Mia tried opening her eyes. Her eyes heavy from all the drugs Roman had given her. Making her heartbeat slow. Moving around slowly, letting out a moan once and a while. The tightness of the chains made it difficult to move. Mia tried to stand up. Her legs felt like jelly making her fall to the ground instantly. Eating dust. Feeling woozy. Mia noticed a dark figure appear. Difficulty focusing. She tried to speak but no words wanted to form. “Well. Well. Well. Look who finally decided to wake up. Did you have a wonderful slumber?” The voice said. I tried to make out who it was but to no avail. My head rolling around trying to make sense of what was happening. “Looks like you’re still a bit sleepy. I will come back a bit later. Oh, and I have a surprise for you.” As these words were said I felt a sharp pain in my side. A kick to the side. I let out a loud moan. Mia held her left side. Trying to get r

Mia’s Point of View Waking up, Mia sat up straight leaning against the wall. Noticing the blanket that was on her was not the same one that she grabbed off the ground last night. Realizing Roman had sneaked in her and replaced the blankets. Her heart started to pound loudly. Trying to calm herself down. She tried directing her attention to the chains. Trying to think of a way to get free. Mia tried lifting one boney finger as soon as she touched it. It clenched tighter. She lets out a squeal. Her realization of her being able to break free was impossible. She knows there is a way to remove these chains, but she had no idea what and how that might be. A loud noise echoes through the hall. Mia did not move, did not even flinch. She knew exactly who it would be. No one else knew she was here. The hope of someone else walking through that door was one in one million. Trying to remember what she had learned as a child regarding these types of chains. Shaking her head. Trying to be calm. In hopes, the chains will release on their own. Nothing. No movement. She lets out a sigh. Falling to her knees, she knew there was no way out. She was stuck here no matter what. Aspen’s Point of View He stared at Ethan as he stormed off. Making him confused. He leaned back against the log and then stared towards the sky. Admiring the stars. Noticing Kylo walking towards him he sat up straight. Pretending not to have seen him, he fixed his eyes on the fire. “Aspen.” Kylo’s voice made me look up instantly. “Yes sir.” Quickly, I made my way to my feet. Standing on guard. “Stand down.” I relaxed and found my seat again. “May I join you?” “Yes, of course.” Gesturing for Kylo to have a seat. “This Ethan character. He is something else. There is something that he is not telling up. But what could it be.” Kylo tapped his lips indicating that he was thinking. “I don’t think it is my place to tell you, sir. He was here a few minutes ago and blabbered it to me.” Saying this while poking the fire with a stick. “Aspen, I order you to tell me what he told you. Now.” Kylo said this than grabbing my face and turning it towards him. Making me stare into his eyes. “I’

Two hours of silence. The sun baking their faces. Sweat running down. Ethan suddenly comes to a stop. Climbing off his horse and walking towards a tree sniffing the air. Faces going left and right, up, and down. Sniffing the tree alongside the road. He froze. “Mia.” The words left my mouth softly. “Ethan, what is the hold-up?” Kylo’s yelled from the front of the pack. “I smell her.” My words were still soft. “What? Speak up, boy. I’m getting old my hearing isn’t what it used to be.” Kylo started coming closer to me. “I have her scent. She was her. This must be the way they went.” Running towards my horse and quickly jumped on her and started sprinting with her. The rest of the pack started to follow Ethan. The wind blew through their hair. The cold of the wind was just what they needed. “If we hurry, we might catch up with them!” I yelled from the front of the pack. “Young Alpha, slow down! It might be a trap!” Ignoring what Kylo had to say. I continued sprinting. Before Eth
