Luca’s POV

I arrived at the office and alighted the car as soon as the door got pulled open, and I started to make my way towards the office as soon as possible, a quick glance at my wrist watch showed that the time was some minutes past eight p.m in the morning, and I knew even without getting up to my office yet, that James had already gotten to the office before me, like he had said he was going to do yesterday.

It wasn’t like I had planned to arrive here at the office late, it was only because of the whole thing with Sofia that had made me use more than my usual time in bed, coupled with the fact that I had to take a new car here to the office this morning, seeing as my car which I usually take along with me to almost everywhere I go, got really shot at, last night on my way home.
