“No.” Gypsy whispered through a cracking voice. “You can't make me do this. Please, I beg of you.”

Her lips quivered as she stared at Falcon. Even though she knew that the prospects of her plea touching his heart, if he had one at all, was next to nil, she still hoped that somehow, a miracle would happen.

The only response she got was Falcon's smile turning even wider. He was obviously enjoying her panic.

“The remotes on your lap,” He pointed at them. “One of the buttons is blue and the other is red. The blue one connects to the bomb in your son's room, and the red one is connected to the one in your lover boy's room.”

He pointed back at the laptop screen. “Notice that the minutes remaining is the same for both your son and lover boy. But the remotes are also connected. All you have to do is press on the button of the one you want to die and the other bomb will automatically be shut off, saving the other person.”
