Chapter 12 Visiting Mr Jeremy

“Spiffy you need to leave now”,I opened the door, looked at Spiffy and pointed to his car, making him understand that his time was up.

“He isn't going anywhere Bridgette”, Jim retorted. “Why are you objecting to the idea of going to visit your parents?” “Did they also reject you as their daughter?”

“I'm not objecting to his ideas,I just don't want to have anything to do with him”. I yelled and broke into sobs.

Spiffy was the first person who ran to me, clutching me up in his broad arms, his cologne penetrating my nostril, his inner jacket and coat was in his car, he had only his white shirt on him which rested perfectly on his broad chest,as he said “that's not a reasonable choice to make now”.

He gently led me back to the couch while everyone else stared at me. He is being so nice and I don't know why,but that was how he managed to becloud their judgement.

“You will go with us to see Dad and Mom tomorrow”.I felt vulnerable and sober so I had to consent to his idea.
