Chapter 89 Damon-s Return

Ariana’s POV

While I ran to Damon it was then I realized, I really hated this.

Running.

Sigil’s face held no sign of hope. It didn’t look good.

Damon was at my place, together with Bach.

Sigil said they found him and then immediately went over to my quarters to avoid being seen. That meant there was something they were trying to skillfully avoid mentioning.

I had to get to him.

When we reached the familiar hallways, my steps quickened.

With a shaky breath I pushed the door open.

And I met him.

He stood, his body facing me but his eyes avoiding mine. His long blonde hair fell recklessly on his shoulders, bruises on his face.

Even though he didn’t want to show it, he was in obvious pain.

I rushed to him, my hands tensely reaching for his face. When my palm touched his cheek, his eyes instantly closed, softly purring against it.

My tensed body began relaxing. “Where does it hurt?”

“Don’t worry about that, I’ll take care of it.”
