Chapter 9 - Billionaire's Bride.

“Look who is the billionaire's stunning bride!” Juliet beamed as she entered the room, Aliyah turned to acknowledge Juliet who was also beautifully dressed as her bridesmaid.

Standing before her best friend, Juliet noticed Aliyah's sad face.

“Babe,” Juliet called as she sat beside Aliyah on the bed “What is the problem? You look sad.”

Aliyah took a deep breath, tears brimmed in her eyes, she looked upward so her tears wouldn't fall, Juliet patted her back gently and comfortingly.

“Juliet, this is all fake, within a year we would be over… I … I …” She stammered her voice shaky, her eyes full with tears “I wish I was really getting married, happy that I’d be spending forever with someone I love. Justin-”

“You will keep that bastard’s name out of your mouth, beastie.” Juliet said with a frown “Justin does not deserve you, you should be happy he showed his true color now.”

“And Aliyah I understand what circumstances have brought you and Romero Kingsley together but just live in the moment.”

Aliyah sighed.

“Stop bothering your little head about the future, I believe it will play out itself and besides you are able to kick your wicked family's asses.” Juliet patted Aliyah's back.

“And besides, have you seen the way Sir Romero stares at you?” Juliet asked with a wink making Aliyah roll her eyes.

“Yes!” Juliet exclaimed her hands in the air “He looks at you as if you are the only one existing in the whole world.”

“Stop.” Aliyah blushed, making Juliet smirk.

“Even looking at you,” She continued as she stood to her feet “the look you give when you are with him, seems as if you long for that hot night together.” Juliet mimicked moans, making Aliyah widen her eyes and grabbing a pillow to throw at Juliet who runs to the door.

“Who knows you can find a Daddy in him!”

“Juliet Salmon!” Aliyah yelled bashfully, throwing the pillow at Juliet who had already ran out the door.

‘Who knows you can find a Daddy in him.’

Aliyah tightens her legs together as she feels herself grow wet at the thought of herself calling Romero daddy and him smirking and slamming into her as a daddy would.

Aliyah's phone chimed, taking it she grew nervous as the message from Juliet read *It's time to make your appearance.*

Aliyah quickly stood to her feet and before the mirror, though nervous she smiled at her beautiful reflection. According to Juliet, her best friend, she was indeed a beautiful, stunning billionaire’s bride.

She quickly took her bouquet of flowers and walked towards the door, she halted to remember her late father.

If he were here he would be the one to walk her down the aisle, she smiled sadly “I love you Dad.” Aliyah muttered, she blinked back her her tears.

The opening of the door pulled Aliyah out her thoughts, her hands and heart shook in fear as standing before her was her ex' mother and elder sister to her soon to be husband, Georgina Alward.

Georgina Alward… a beauty that seems ageless, a business female tycoon, she was equally feared just as her brother Romero.

“I hear you don't have anyone to walk you down the aisle.”

Aliyah swallowed, noticing the coldness in Georgina’s tone … no one needed to tell Aliyah that her soon to be older sister-in-law doesn't fancy her.

“Yes ma.” Aliyah replied seeing that the older woman was waiting for a reply.

Taking her beautiful clutch to the other hand, Aliyah marveled at the beauty of the clutch, she could recognize the symbol ‘F’ on the clutch, that piece of accessory was from Finesse.

“You must be happy now that you have dug out your first gold.” Georgina said, looking Aliyah from her head to her feet, her dislike on full display, the older woman pulled down Aliyah's veil over her face.

“Ma’am?” Aliyah asked, confused as she quickly held Georgina’s elbow which the latter had pulled out.

They both walked out of the room “You must love the job so well.” She sneered.

Confused Aliyah asked “Which job ma’am. I don't understand you ma’am.”

They entered into the beautifully decorated garden, the dim lights lighting up the evening, the arrangements of diverse colors of flowers, created in the garden a romantic feeling.

Everyone stood up “Your gold digging job.”

Aliyah was silent for sometimes processing what Georgina has said, “Excuse me.” She frowned and halted immediately, making the older woman stop.

With a big smile on her face, Georgina Alward pulled Aliyah into a hug, placed her mouth beside Aliyah's ear.

“Do you want to cause a scene on your wedding day? Seems it runs in the blood, like mother like daughter.” And with that she patted Aliyah's back as if comforting her.

A lone tear ran down her eyes as the older lady disengaged from her and they continued walking.

“I am sure my brother wouldn't be so stupid or foolish to believe he can have forever with the leftovers of his nephew, my son, Justin, your ex.”

Aliyah's body trembled. Her heart broke into different pieces, tears ran down her eyes.

Justin seems to have told his mother lies making the older hate and see Aliyah as a worthless person.

“Happy married life darling.” Georgina said with a smile which reminded Aliyah of her stepmother, the smile was fake enough for Aliyah to know.

Georgina kissed Aliyah on the cheeks and turned away, walking to her seat.

Romero took Aliyah's gloved hands, Aliyah bowed her head and cried silently.

.

“Are you okay?”

Aliyah jerked, startled by the interruption of her thoughts.

“Yes.” She replied quickly wiping her face with her handkerchief as Romero, now her husband walked up to her.

The attachment to her wedding dress has been removed, now it was just a short white gown, her heels were also off, on her feet were beautiful white sandals.

He stood before her, though it was dark but the dim light a little distance away made it possible for him to see her clearly.

He was about to raise her bowed head but she took steps back making Romero frown.

He closed the gap between them and grapped her waist before she could step further away from him, deep down his heart tells him that something was bothering her.

His hand under her chin, he raised it up gently “Gracious goodness! You have been crying!”

Her face was puffed, her eyes red contrasting with the ocean blue orbs he has come to love.

Romero immediately knew that this was not because she missed her late father, something was wrong.

“Ocean, what's wrong?” He asked softly, his eyes shone his concern.

Aliyah shook her head as she stared at him.

“Something is wrong, please tell me.” Tears brimmed her eyes again, the concern and tenderness he was showing was messing with her.

Because if he was really concerned and cared about her as shown, why did he lift her veil and just brush his lips against her cheek and not kiss her just as a groom would? Even if this was fake, at least to save her face before the audience.

“What?” Romero asked, “Is that it?”

“Huh?”

“Oh, you thought out loud.” Romero said, a smile etched on his lips.

Oh no! Aliyah shut her eyes, turning her head sideways … He must think I am being too much.

He removed his hands from her chin, held her hand, Aliyah opened her eyes as Romero led her to a car, he positioned her to lean on it, she wondered what was going on.

“You will need support.” He said, his voice low and husky, as he bit his lower lip and released it slowly, the movement sending electric waves down Aliyah's spine.

His eyes locked onto hers, making her heart pound against her chest, she then parted her lips to respond but the words caught in her throat as his tender gaze mixed with his desire held her bound.

Slowly his lips found hers, claiming, biting, dominating, exploring and possessing it, sending a strong want and desire for him throughout her body.
