Her Determination

[Tatiana’s POV]

“What did Jasper give you?” I ask Knight as we climb into his car. “You seemed to be surprised.”

After receiving that piece of paper from Jasper, Knight had been quiet, and as much as I didn’t want to push him to tell me what it was, I knew that was the only way I was going to find out.

“See for yourself,” he responds, passing it over to me. “It involves you anyway.”

“Right.”

Of course, I knew that it involved me after what Jasper said, but I wasn’t sure what it was. However, instead of trying to come up with an idea, I open it and then stare down in disbelief.

“This,” I gasp, snapping my gaze at Knight. “Does this mean…”

“That’s right,” Knight confirms. “We have a clue towards your mother’s past and her pack.”
