Chapter five

CHAPTER FIVE

He moved towards her,and bethany begin to back away from him,she looked around that's when she realized what made the Salvador's run.

She knew this guard from the orphanage, she just hoped he doesn't recognize her.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?."He asked her.

"I don't know."I said  ,I could see him looking around if anyone was near.

"Well, well what do we do with you now.?"he said slowly.

He grabbed her hands and was trying to tear her clothes off her body.She kicked him in the place the sun doesn't shine.

She tore away from him and ran through the bushes.she paused for a moment in panic to look back.seeing him standing up, she could think of no where to run to.

Trembling ,she continued running in a particular direction ignoring the pain in her stomach and her feet.She looked back one more time ,found out that he was no longer following her.

The cool night breeze was the only consolation in her situation. She saw light coming from a far distance.

"Please help me .."That was the last thing she said before fainting.

When i opened my eyes i was in a room.

"Why do i always end up in a room."Beth murmured.

"I see you have woken up."The man said.

"Let me go."

"Is that what you say to someone who helps you."

The room looked like a motel, the lights were not too bright making the room look like an interrogation room.

"You will give me what i want then i would let you go."He said smiling evilly.

"And what do you want."I  asked.

"Sleep with me this night and we go our separate ways."He said.

"No way am having sex with you ."I said eyeing him.

"Why pretty.."he said playing with my hair.

"Who knows the kind of diseases you have contracted from having sex with different girls."I said accessing the exit route.

"Don't even think of running."He said as if reading my mind.

"Well am already out of here."I said standing up .

"The door is locked and the key is in my pants the only way to get it is by dancing my music."He said smiling .

"Ok let's dance."_I said throwing my knife at him.

The knife landed in his legs,i used the other knife and stab his hands to the bed.I quickly collected the keys from his pocket.

He removed the knife from his hands cursing me under his breath and was running after me with the knife limping.

I saw a group of people gather I ran to them .

My eyes met with a pair of blue eyes ,staring at them made her catch her breath. looking at the carved cheekbones and the arresting dimples almost made her forget she was running away from someone.

She found herself lost for words and stunned down to the marrow. He was dressed in an exquisitely tailored navy blue suit and it showed off his athletic,broad shoulders physique to perfection.

"Please help me that man wants to harm me.."I said pointing at the mans direction.

As soon as the man sees me with the stranger he turned around quickly running away.

"Are you the owner of this place."I asked the stranger surprise all over my face.

He just chuckled.

"Can you please help me with some cash so that i can take a train or something like that."I asked him again.

"You sure ask a lot of questions."He said looking at me .

"Are you hungry."He asked me.

"Yes please."I said hidding my blush.

He ordered  pasta and meatballs for me and it tasted perfect.

"Thanks ."

"Here is the money you requested for ."He said dropping some money on the table and left.

"Wait,what is your name."I said .

"Alex."He said and left .

Since I left the orphanage this is first nice person am meeting.

I quickly finished my food and went to one of the bathroom i cleaned my body ,I was wearing one of jacks polo and my jeans with one of his boots.

I asked the girl that served me food for a knife she looked at me weirdly but gave me later .I put it in my boots.

"Please where are we??."I asked her.

"This is the Thompson club."She said .

"Can I take a train from this place to crescent palace."I asked again.

She looked at me weirdly."That place has been bought by the government."

"Ok."

"Can I spend night here,I don't mind sleeping on the floor."Bethany continued.

"I have an even better idea."She said.

"What is it.".

"We are currently looking for waitress ,you could work here."She said.

"Are you sure."I asked her .

"Yes I can help you talk to the manager."

"Thanks."

"Don't thank me yet."She said and left the room.

"Just wait for me here."

"Ok."I said

Working here won't be safe for me but its already late I need somewhere to stay for now its been long .

The place we stay has been bought by the government ,that was one of my hope when I was running away from the orphanage .

"You can stay with me at the workers quarters with me."She said smiling.

"I don't know what to say."

"Why did you take a knife with you."

Am not going to act foolishly and start  trusting anyone again.

"In case any drunk perverted man tries anything funny with me."I said laughing.

"Isn't it inconvenient."she asked.

"Sometimes."

"I just use a pepper spray ."She said showing me The can.

"I might forget how to spray but with the knife its easier."

"That's true."

"By the way what's your name,Am Christian."She said.

I don't know if I should tell her my real name.

"My name is Bethany."I managed to say.

"Thats a nice name ,unlike mine its manly."She said .

"Its a nice name ,I can call you Christy."

"I never thought of shortening my name."She said smiling.

"So Let's be friends."she added.

"Sure."
