CHAPTER SEVENTY-FIVE

Zachary’s POV:

Brenda and I were supposed to take Hailey out to the park. I only went because Hailey asked me to. But not for Brenda. I don’t understand her.

Even though we split up more than a year ago, since Evvie came back she had spread gossips all over the pack, saying she and I were back to being one, happy, family, when we are far from one.

I left and turned my back for a second to fetch us some ice cream, when I came back and saw the pained expression on Evvie’s face.

The moment I saw Evvie run from the park, I knew I couldn’t let her go. Seeing her face crumble at the sight of Brenda and Hailey, I realized how much pain she still carried. My heart ached knowing I was the cause of it, but I had to make things right. I had to do everything I can to win her back.

I ran after her, my wolf, Duncan who was just as adamant to close the distance. The forest grew darker as I delved deeper, but I didn’t stop. I couldn’t lose her again. Not now.

Brenda sure knows how to weaponize that kid. She literally uses someone else's kid to guilt trip him. with no shame lol.

What if they're all 3 mates & the guys just don't want to admit it (gay phobia or something?)? How else is Zach as strong as Logan & Logan's alpha aura doesn't work on him like it should? Perhaps she has 2 strong mates to fight the upcoming battle??

They are NOT listening to Evvie. She said NO to the both of them, yet they think by fighting each other she will change her mind. Zach needs to walk away, because he let is fated go. No matter what, he should not have rejected her. Jokes on him…he got played. And Logan…I don’t know what to say.
