CHAPTER FIFTY-NINE

Evvie’s POV:

“She sure kicked your ass, huh gamma?” I heard one of his friends say, making me giggle.

“Shut up,” he grumbled. “And don’t you have some more training to do? Now f*ck off.” He barked at his friend who turned on his heel laughing out his lungs.

My brother glared after him, muttering under his breath before heading this way.

I leaned back against my seat. My arms folded against my chest as I waited for him to jump in the car.

When he did, he whipped at me, deadpan.

“How’s the arm?” I asked, sending him a wink.

His nose flared and eyebrows furrowed.

“Evvie…” I blinked at him. “What the f*ck have you been doing these past five years?” The question was expected, especially it was my brother, who think he knew everything I was up to while I was away.

I noticed one of his brows twitch, telling me he was not done.

“I mean, how did you get so…” He trailed off.

“Skilled?” I finished for him.

His eyes snapped to me.

“Yeah, that.” He murmured quietly.
