Edwina

As we drew near a little settlement, a day's ride from Avalor, the night descended. We went into the woods to find safety and a quiet place to stay until the light of dawn revealed our way. We were tired from the journey, and our eagerness was stoked by the thought of what awaited us in Avalor.

The silence of the night was broken as we got closer to our resting spot by an unwelcome sound, a combination of groans and stretches. I suddenly realized that Lady Rebeca was awake.

Her confused and distressed voice cut through the night air. Oh my goddess! Where am I? What the fuck is this place?" Her tone conveyed a sincere fear, intensified by her confusion of suddenly finding herself in unfamiliar surroundings.

We halted the horses and moved closer to the chariot to see why Lady Rebeca was so upset. Her eyes filled with dread, and she slowly tried to release herself from the chariot. She cried out as soon as her feet reached the earth, and Benita and I helped her down c

EDWINA The drug's effect on Rebeca manifested in a relentless hunger and drowsiness, painting vulnerability across her once defiant facade. Benita and I maintained a quiet vigilance, aware that every decision held the potential to alter the course of our unpredictable journey. Amid this hushed voyage, the only audible disturbance was the growling protest of Rebeca's stomach. Hungry and weakened by the drug's influence, Rebeca could not endure the silent torment any longer. The stillness shattered as she broke the silence with a demand, her tone dripping with both desperation and rudeness. "Please, can I have some food at least?" she implored, her pride momentarily eclipsed by the insistent growls emanating from her stomach. "Oh, I thought you rejected it earlier," Benita remarked, her words carrying a subtle mockery. "Well, that was then, but I'm hungry now, and I need to eat," Rebeca retorted, her entitlement evident in her tone. "The pretty lady wants some f

The air is thick with tension as the search party presses on, determined to unravel the mystery. Through the darkness, the search party presses on, their horses tirelessly covering the ground. The moon witnesses their unyielding determination as they chase them, relentless in their pursuit. Sleep eludes us, replaced by the relentless rhythm of hooves and the resolve to reclaim the stolen bride before dawn break Our horses are very fast and I'm sure Rebeca’s chariot horses are not this fast. The only time we had to rest was when the horses needed water. My mind did not did not go to sleep neither did my thought. I could only pick the faint track of Reb

Edwina The trip back to Avalor turned into an endurance test because there was just one horse left to draw the wrecked chariot. The damaged carriage moaned with disapproval, its wheels resonating with the fatigue of the chase we had abandoned. Closer to the gates of Avalor, My eyes flicked back and forth between our objective on the horizon and the increasing cloud of dust that indicated Edward and his men's unrelenting advance. The crisp night air had a hint of impending danger, and I could feel my heart palpating with anxiety. But fear didn't stop me; on the contrary, it strengthened my drive. The gates of Avalor stood enticingly close, even with the exhaustion that set in. The hunt was getting closer with every heartbeat, and every second seemed to drag on forever. My senses perked up as the gates grew bigger. The win, or whatever you want to call it at that point, was almost within my grasp, but the smell of chasing enemies persisted. "Edwina!" My name echoed thr

Edwina The chaotic scene within Avalor took an unexpected turn as a group of rogues, formidable and ready for battle, inserted themselves into our tense confrontation. "The rogue king asked us to welcome you," grinned a muscular rogue, a sinister smile etched across his face. The air crackled with anticipation as Edward and his men squared off against the new threat. Amid the impending clash, Edward, decisive and protective, lifted me from the ground. I instinctively reached for Benita, and together, we found refuge in the waiting chariot, where a sleeping beauty lay unaware of the turmoil surrounding her. "Stay here!" Edward commanded, his tone leaving no room for disobedience. The chariot rattled to life, carrying us a safe distance away from the imminent battleground. I watched Edward, torn between confusion and curiosity, as he sprinted back towards the impending fight. Unable to comprehend his relentless protection, I called out to him, hoping he would hear the trut

Edwina"You are trying to prove stubborn now, Edwina? Ok, fine… I’ll get you your mother, or rather, I'll tell you where your mother is…” He smirked wickedly.“Your sweet mother is a long way from here, Edwina! If you are serious about finding her, I suggest you take a trip to the bottom of the ocean, or rather, I can send you straight to her!” His laughter echoed through my ears, and it sentchills down my spine.“What! What are you talking about, Damien? I did what you asked me! We… we had a deal… no… no, you can't do this to me!” My voice trembled with a mixture of desperation and disbelief. This can't be happening. He can’t be serious!“Well, you took too long to return, and your mother? She just wouldn't stop whining like a little bitch.” He rolled his eyes and sighed, a callous indifference fill his words. At that moment, the reality of the situation crashed down on me like a tidal wave. I had gambled with the devil, and now the stakes were higher than ever.“To be honest, I did

EdwinaI struggled against Damien's grip, taking advantage of the distraction caused by his brutal assault on Benita. With every ounce of strength, I managed to break free from his clutches. My heart raced, fuelled by a combination of fear and determination.Ignoring the pain in my neck from his earlier choking, I sprinted towards Benita, who lay on the ground, blood staining her face."Benita!" I called out, my voice a mix of concern and desperation. As I reached her side, I knelt, cradling her in my arms. The metallic scent of blood filled my nostrils, and my hands trembled as I assessed the extent of her injuries. Her face was a mask of pain, and I felt a surge of guilt and helplessness.Damien, seemingly amused by the unfolding drama, watched with a sinister grin. I glared at him, anger bubbling within me. This wasn't a game anymore; it was a fight for survival. My mind raced, considering our options and the grim reality of our predicament.I cradled Benita in my arms, her body tr

Edward I couldn't understand Edwina's motivations behind kidnapping Rebeca, and honestly, I didn't want to delve too deeply into it. It was evident that Edwina's actions were fuelled by jealousy, a misguided attempt to inflict the pain she felt onto me by abducting my supposed bride. Stepping into Avalor, I sensed the looming threat and the need to be on guard against sudden attacks. As Damien's men closed in, preparing for combat, the uncertainty of the impending clash hung heavy in the air. Amid the brewing conflict, my single focus shifted to ensuring Edwina's safety amid the chaos surrounding us. It didn't make sense to me why my first instinct was to save her but I did it anyway. There was no time to ponder the difficulties of the situation, only to navigate through the uncertainties that lay ahead. Without hesitation, I moved to Edwina's side, lifting her from where she stood. Together, we approached the chariot, and with her help, we secured the other lady Edwina br

EdwardI wanted to order my men to first break the circle the witches made with dark powder but that might wake them up. If these people were truly witches, they could cause us maximum damage so we need to find a way to neutralize them but since they are in a trance and they have no idea that we are here, I’d like to keep it that way.I drove a sword into the heart of the first one I stood close to and he bled and died right there.I ordered my men to do the same to the rest of them quietly and they did, leaving the old head witch behind. She seemed important and powerful but at the same time, she seemed old and weak.I have heard stories of an old witch whom Damien sees as his mother since his biological mother died. Serena or something like that….With caution in every move, my men and I approached the head witch lying in the center of the intricate circle. The thought lingered in my mind – what if she held the key to Damien's supernatural prowess? Witches were known for their formi

Edward,Everything seemed like a dream when I saw that the palace where I had left Edwina had caught fire.I did not understand how it happened, but something told me that it was my fault.I feel quite guilty because I was part of the reason why she sustained so many injuries. I had no idea that she was there, so I just climbed over the door to save Edwina, but I had no idea.I was glad that the healers were able to save Rebecca, even though she had sustained so many burns. But hearing that she was pregnant was the last thing I expected to hear.Of course, she is pregnant. This is what she has always wanted. This was what she aimed to get when she drugged my food and took advantage of me. But how do I begin to explain that?I have finally fulfilled all the promises that I made to Edwina, and I am supposed to be happy with her right now. But Rebecca obviously is the enemy that was sent to ruin my happiness, and she is doing a good job at that.I feel so sad that Alfie is gone. He was l

EdwinaI was stuck here in the palace with this hideous-looking creature. I remember the terrible things that I saw with her and Damien. Why would Edward leave me in the same room with this bitch?I want to strangle her, and I want to take the life out of her. She looks so fragile; it would be very easy for me to kill her.As soon as Edward and Alfie left the both of us in the room, I knew that this was the perfect opportunity for me to end her life.I did not care what Edward was saying to Alfie when he wanted to take his swing at her, but I will not listen to any of that. She is as guilty as Damien for killing my parents. As soon as I was sure that Edward and Alfie were out of our way, I went for it.I was at her neck, my hand around her stupid neck, and began to press as hard as I could. She tried to push my hands off, but she obviously wasn’t strong enough, and I was not even willing to let go until I am sure that the breath has left and she is truly gone.“Plea…” She begged, but

I couldn’t understand what was going on. Alfie should not be fighting in his condition, but he continues to fight. What the hell is wrong with him? I tried to stop him from fighting, but at the same time, Damien made it difficult. Each time I pulled him away and fought the man myself, he ended up coming back to fight.“Leave my body alone, you fucking witch!” When he yelled those words, I knew that everything he was doing was not of his own will; he was being controlled. The witch is here somewhere. The second time Alfie went to grab Damien, I rushed to him to pull him away, but Damien delivered a massive blow to me and I landed on my back. Damien succeeded in pulling out a massive part of Alfie's heart, and it was then that Alfie finally stopped fighting…“Alfie!” I yelled as I watched him fall to the ground, breathing badly. His heart had been tossed aside, and I thought that if I rushed to pick up the heart and put it back into him, it would heal because there was still time. EdwardAs we were fighting, I felt like we weren't being challenged as much as I thought we would. Something is off, and it is hard for me to place my finger on it. Why have I not seen Damien yet? Suddenly, I felt a change in the atmosphere when I saw some of my men fighting against each other.I could not understand what was going on. They were all dressed in the same uniform, and it was a bit confusing for me to fight and defend. Why the hell are my men fighting against each other? It became apparent I made a mistake by recruiting men from outside. News could have gotten to Damien about this, and he might have managed to bring in some of the bad eggs into my ranks. Now, it is difficult for me to know who my men are and who they aren’t. It's impossible for me to know all my soldiers, but I know a few...I managed to find my way out of the crowd and stood in front of them as I watched my men fight each other."Retreat," I yelled. DamienI didn't mean to hit Venus like that, but the things he was saying weren't right.Venus was on the floor after I swung my hand at him unexpectedly, driving him off. He didn't just land on the ground; he hit a very heavy stone, which made it difficult for him to stand up for a moment. I didn't know how much damage my action caused him, but I didn't care.“So it was you? You killed my mother and laid the path for my own life, making me hate my family just to use me as your puppet, and now you want to abandon me… why, Serena?”“Damien, take it easy. Remember, I am your mother, and I know what is best for you. There is war in the vicinity; this is not the right time for us to turn against each other. Stop acting crazy, Damien,” she said.“No, you are not my mother; you are Serena, the evil witch who took over my life, and turned me into a monster, hurting the people that I thought were my family. EdwinaMy heart has not beaten normally since we set out on this journey. From the moment we left Galentia, I knew that my world was about to change, and I couldn't sit around without playing a part in it.The air became tense as we rode for Galentia. I wondered what was going through the minds of Edward and Alfie at the same time because I knew that my own heart was not settled, and it was hard to even pin down my thoughts. My thoughts were all over the place. It's time for Damien to die, and I'm afraid that we might not get it right this time because we have been missing it for a very long time. Damien has a powerful sorceress with him, and even though Edward managed to chase her home last time, we're not sure if she's still alive or not.I have zeroed my mind on any possibility of failing in the battle with Damien's life. This is it! I'm trusting Edward and Alfie to do a complete job. Edward is strong enough to take down Damien, and he has tried it before, but because there were so

EDWARDWith the fastest of our horses and a determined resolve, we set off from Valencia to Avalor with swiftness.Every step of the journey, I pondered what to expect when we arrived in Avalor. I feared the worst outcome: that Damien had amassed more forces than we did, and perhaps he had bolstered his ranks with dark powers.I lack any dark powers myself, and I often wonder how I manage to face him. Whenever I confront him, I never dwell on whether I am strong enough to defeat him or not. I am always driven by the anger within me, always ready to inflict as much damage as possible, and that is exactly what I intend to do this time.I am in no mood for smiles; Damien has had enough respite, and now it is time for him to face his reckoning. As the night grew dark, we decided to take shelter in a small village on the outskirts. We built a fire, and the men set up camp all around. I am not afraid of the night or what dangers it may bring, for I have so many allies that it would take a g

Edward is still far and hasn’t entered Avalor's gates, so there is still time for us to prepare.I had gotten a message earlier that Edward was coming today. How could I be so stupid to forget? This is all Mother’s fault… if I hadn’t been so distracted by her, seeking attention all the time, I would've remembered. I got this message a month ago that Edward would be arriving here on this day, but I totally forgot about it.Damn it!It is not too late.
