My meetings with Elliot started to become more frequent than before, and each day I was excited to see more of him. For a while, I didn’t care about the suitors who came asking for my hand because I knew that my father's answer would remain the same.

I did not know what plan Elliot had, and I was also lost, but I was enjoying the moment.
